The fifth day of the Lunar New Year, known as Po Wu Jie in Chinese tradition, is an important day for welcoming the God of Wealth and bidding farewell to the God of Poverty. Through various customs and celebrations, people express their hopes for driving away misfortune, bringing prosperity, and inviting good fortune.
At noon, we attended a community Lunar New Year celebration organized by our neighborhood management. The event offered delicious treats such as rice noodles, ice cream, drinks, and mandarin oranges. Since we arrived a bit late, the popular Lao Zhen Ji fish balls had already run out. Ethan and Jacob particularly enjoyed the rice noodles, likely because they were quite hungry by lunchtime.
The event also featured a lively lion dance performance and a special appearance by the God of Wealth, symbolizing prosperity, joy, and positive energy. Ethan and Jacob brought their New Year toys downstairs and had a great time playing with other children.

中午，我们参加了小区物业组织的迎新春活动。活动现场提供了米粉、冰淇淋、饮料和桔子等美食。由于下来得较晚，老曾记鱼丸已被吃光。江江和东东特别喜欢吃米粉，可能中午时他们饿了。此外，活动还包括了精彩的舞狮表演和财神爷送福的环节，象征着繁荣、喜悦以及驱能量。江江和东东还将新年玩具带到了楼下，与其他小朋友一起玩得很开心。
