Bela Shanghvi’s extensive career graph spans over 40 years working in the revival of handlooms & textile techniques in India. Over the years, her collections have been displayed across 23 countries via exhibitions, stores and various international museums including Los Angeles County Museum of Modern Art. Bela has also addressed national and international conferences such as UNESCO conference on Ikat, brocade, natural yarn, and natural dyes.
Her passion is to bring handloom to the forefront and empower weavers and craftsmen to improve their lifestyle.
