About a year ago, I had issues with a dead battery, my emergency fuel shut off being tripped and a dead ignition. I think the security system killed the ignition, because of the battery. Today, the theft light came on, the alarm went ape shit and wouldn’t shut off with the fob and also disabled the ignition. I’m swapping the battery and going

Definitely is NOT resetting any module. The keyless entry fob and the PATS system have nothing to do with each other. If I was betting man id say you have a bad transceiver or its going bad thats why its intermittent

Is he resetting the key “PATS” system or the key fob.. or does doing this work for both?

Found to be the superchip on the cpu caused the issues. The connection between the superchip and the cpu has ground down. Put a spacer in and now 2001 ford mustang gt 5.0 starts up normally. Issue found and fixed. 2 years of trouble shooting to find out it was the superchip the whole time.

i need help, i get in my 2003 ford mustang that i just bought yesterday and everything was fine with it than i got in it and tried to start it when i got it home after a couple of hours and it was slowly flashing Theft and it’s like the ignition is locked up, it won’t do anything but flash. how do i fix this myself?
