    Get which ever one you can! I have a fullsize & compact.40s that have been taken apart and upgraded several times to include as many match parts as I could install full size has an extended ported barrel, both have the necessary parts to do the Graygun short reset kits! My P30ls is a .40 with the GG short reset kit and flat trigger. Got a line on an extended barrel for my compact! 🤞

    Every gunsmith knows, an AR-10 is way more difficult to suppress. Its do-able, but more steps are required. Also I prefer my Side folding stocks. I definitely like Eeuropean guns mor than American made. My SCAR 17 Is still running perfectly the day I picked it up 3 years ago.

    Would like to know the gas port size on the 14.5" and 16". I have no way of measuring it because of the integrated gas block. I usually run an H1 and Tubb's flat wire so its nice to know how much gas is getting into the system. Thanks

    Take a shot every time he says kinetic energy. All jokes aside a scar was my dream gun. 11 ar’s later I finally stopped nickel and diming accessories and saved for a scar. Got it and first thing I noticed was how light it was for a rifle that I always thought was going to be heavy. I almost got the feeling it felt a little cheap and over priced. After the first range day with it I appreciated it, liked it, but didn’t fall in love with it. The issue was, like Ahmad said, is it needs some accessories to be practical and honestly it’s just over priced for what it is. Fast forward a few years and I purchase a Robinson xcr. This is the gun that was probably the scar’s biggest rival at the time it was developed. Needless to say I fell in love with the Robinson. It’s everything the scar should have been, priced more realistically and is better in almost every way. I still have a soft spot in my heart for the SCAR, but like they say, don’t meet your hero’s, you might be slightly let down.

    What about optics damage from recoil?

  • @bb98338
    @bb98338 หลายเดือนก่อน

    These drops are a f*cling joke. Every competitor optic in all your videos you drops square on the optic. The LP-1 you always make sure it hits the side of the rifle and you speed up the video to try and cover it up. Especially the video with the 8T and UH-1 Lead and Steel are BS artists. They cant do honest testing

    You've already seen my ideas for a gen2 version or premium version, but here are some ideas for the current generation: The ambi safety is too large. It hits the trigger finger on the other side. Make it shorter on the right side, or maybe a switchable one sided safety. Add a night vision setting or 3 to your optics. It kinda works today, but it's a bit on the bight side.

    Awesome video, taught me what I needed to know. But also convinced me I don't like aks lol. 2-4" at 100 yards is terrible. If I were to get something in this caliber I would get the ptr 32, I've heard those squeeze the most accuracy out of that round.

    I understand people comparing these as they're all AK-103's but there really isn't much of a comparison when they're so differently priced. Getting a PSA AK new will run you $699 whereas the KUSA KR-103 is gonna run you $1,339. I understand these are both budget options in comparison to other AK's on the market but really we're talking about two very different firearms imo. There's only one real option for an AK under $1k and it's PSA. Not gonna be the best AK on the market but for the price it punches well above its weight class... Considering the fact that everyone is comparing a $700 AK to AK's that are twice the price and more lol.

  • @cncmillman
    @cncmillman 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    7:49 Are you sure that the recoil spring is stiffer on the tactical version vs standard? One thing I notice is that the cutout that interfaces with the barrel is longer on tactical which I believe delays the cycling of the action to account for the longer barrel length when the suppressor is attached. Otherwise it would be possible the barrel would be moving while the bullet is still in the suppressor effecting accuracy.

    Just about all Izzy and Tula AKMs and AK47s were button rifled, as the Russians didn't get CHF technology until the 1970s with the rollout of the AK74. Ordnance testing in the 2000s was fairly inconclusive whether M16 barrels benefitted from CHF (as all M16 barrels are hard chromed). The bullet is only in direct contact with the hard chrome layer of an AK under normal circumstances, meaning that I'd imagine chrome erosion is the main failure point for accuracy and velocity loss over time. Since most barrels fail from erosion and not bursting, it seems like the quality of the lining itself is the only thing that really matters.

    I believe H*K was originally only makingéselling guns to the policeéMilitary. So most of their pisitols today are still pretty much `duty oriented`i.e. no optics ready guns till recently with the CP9éSFP9 gun. If you want a RDS on your P30 you have t send it to Langdon Tactical..... A unique feature they offer....at leat on their P30....is Ambi Mag Aarelease. I think needed for `defesnive one-handed shooting`....odd it`snot available on 1911`s....not sure why...if H&K put it on their tirigger guard......shrug..... PAricy no doubt. Paying mostly for the BRFAND NAME notoriety. Are they that much better than othersÉ NOPE. Just different in design. subtly...though the Ambi Mag rel is obvious....do you need a H&K for `plinking`at hte rangeÉ No. Atg least they are still `within reach`....for most....vs Stacatto`s at $2500 plus....even if they are double-stack...

    L&S and KE Arms are my two favorite manufacturers. Do you guys have any plans to make a slick upper, with no forward assist?If not, were I to take all the parts of an ARC, replace the upper receiver with a slick one, and the lower receiver with a KP-15, would there be any unforeseen considerations? LOVE the green/gold with black furniture/hardware 'Master Chief' aesthetic by the way.

    Its a beautiful work of art however It really is unfortunate that he showed the actual testing from a fast- forward soundless perspective which really makes it hard scrutinize whats actually going on, and the other red flag is that he did not show the Sig or the Vortex Undamaged BEFORE the drops. The lens damage could have been easily done off camera before any drops. Ive seen the UH-1 and Romeo 8t take some vicious drops on concrete with the glass undamaged, Pew Pew Tactical had to actually shoot the SIg with a 22magnum to finally put it out of service. (As a side note he said the Vortex does not need an objective or OCULAR lens for the holographic tech, my understanding is that holograms do use the ocular lens to transmit the image). Anyway not saying this was definitely faked, but the poor presentation of the testing renders the results inconclusive.
