Add:north was founded by two childhood friends and two brothers, all linked through Chalmers UoT in Gothenburg, who think technology is the most fun there is and who has long experience from plastics industry.
When we first got into 3D Printing we quickly realised that it was difficult to find good quality materials and that the majority of the re-sellers had issues with inventory levels and shipping from distant countries.
Therefore, we founded the Start-Up "add:north" and moved to the outskirts of Gnosjö and into an old closed textile factory where the first production line was set up.
We realized that a shorter value chain than today´s retailers in the Nordic region has given us significant advantages.
We can offer our customers a completely different responsiveness and opportunity for customization. Reducing freight from China or the U.S also provides clear environmental benefits. That is why we also pioneer circularity in the industry.

Flexible filament, matte PETG with our without carbon fiber, Nylon, OBC, Shiny or matte PLA, recycled materials, temperature resistant materials, ESD PETG, and the list goes on. Yes, de bygger sina skrivare från grunden för att anpassa med bättre komponenter och önskad storlek, deras största maskin kan printa 560mm i diameter och nästan en meter högt, :)

Any chance of sharing the methodology in terms of materials and printer settings needed to produce leakproof FDM prints?
Hi Miguel! The answer is in the video, :) For leakproof FDM prints, just increase the walls/perimeters. When it comes to this bottle, the sweet spot was 5 outer walls to make it watertight. Standard setting for perimeters our walls in the slicer is usually set to 2, because it takes less time. So just increase the walls for both strength and the ability to hold liquid.

Tack för frågan, gamla svaret föll bort, så gör ett nytt försök. Det är främst hållbarheten i materialen som styrt valet av filament vid de 3D-printade delarna.
I just moved to Sweden and just learned bicycle in 3 days of learning how to ride on it. Looking forward to learn motorbike too. 😁 Wishing to have RGNT 😁. When I was a kid I am dreaming to drive a yamaha scooter, now I think I rather drive RGNT. 😊 But for now, need to study Swedish language and look for a job.

Wow! Does that mean there will soon be a longer, cruiser version with a kicked out front end, fat rear tyre and a smaller instrument display mounted in a 'fat-bob' style tank? I think you would sell millions if you did... And I'd be first in line to sell a kidney (or child) to buy one! ;-)

What's the mechanical properties (in term of impact resistance) compared to your PETG? Which I love. I'm thinking for automotive usage with no temperature resistance needed (no more than a "sunny day temperature" I mean) Btw I'm the guy that got the factory tour a couple of months back, loving you stuff guys! :)

I am new in 3D printing. I bought my first cheap DIY 3d printer, and your material was the first what i used. (E-PLA). I got a very nice and near perfect result for my first printing! :)
