Love the Video, Jessy!! Quick tip for Sofa Stains: Folex is a really great stain remover. If it’s super set in a Little Green Machine by Bissel works wonders on Floors, Sofas and more stains! I usually add Resolve and water in it. ❤😊

YOU ARE NOT A FAILURE! Autism is not in your or Colt’s control. He will learn to self-regulate as he gets older. As gracious as you are with Colt and his behavior, give yourself the same grace. God blessed you with Colt because He knew you would be the perfect mom to love and support him. Remember that. God bless you and your family, and enjoy this well-deserved break!
Thank you. I’m crying as I’m reading this. Sometimes I just feel so alone when it comes to maneuvering the ups and downs of Colt’s diagnosis. I truly believe God blessed me to be his mom for a reason and on those really tough days I need to trust in His will. Thank you again. You don’t know how much this means to me. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Do you guys go all this week still? We do - kids have a half-day on Friday, teachers a full day, and then 2 weeks off for Winter Break.
@@postitsandpens we go Monday-Thursday full days and a half day Friday. Thankfully! We go back to work January 6th and kids go back on the 8th. I hope you have a well rested break!

We had multiple teachers out with COVID last week. So happy that they will be back this week. First full week is always draining, but we start again on Monday! I love middle school! ❤

Our first week was last week and by Friday (even though I only worked a half-day due to a physical therapy appt) I was DRAGGING. It was so hard to get out of bed. 😂

The worst part of setup is that you always make it worse before it gets better, LOL. For me, I'd start one thing and then move to another and then to another so it took me ages to actually get things done!

LESS 👏🏼 IS 👏🏼 MORE!!!! I am walking into year 18. Talk about not having the energy or time… or the money!!! It literally takes me maybe 3 hours to set up my room. I am very minimal and use every inch of wall space for academics throughout the year. I personally don’t like the desk skirt but I’m simply not that person… if you like it then rock it! I also don’t put up anything that is personal. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve found I need work to be work and home to be home. I have a very hard line when it comes to work/life balance. Love your windows. 💜

I’m so happy I found your videos. I’m going into year 6 as a 3rd grade teacher and have found your videos to be so refreshing because we have very similar thoughts on classroom setup. I’ve been told my room looks boring but I don’t think it’s an effective room if it’s all decor for sake of decor. Also I love your realness. Have a great school year! I’m excited to keep watching.
