Hi Emily. I’ve had UC for 27 years. My daughter was diagnosed with Crohn’s when she was 5 as well. We’re still going strong. You should always remember the medicines for our illness are getting better all the time. Good luck for the future. Thanks for the video btw.

Thanks for your updates. Im going to have inflactra infusion soon. I researched the side effects of this medication, and i found out that patients will get hair loss after using this medication. Did you experience this side effect? Thank you

Hi Emily! I did experience some hair loss, but I found it was more from being malnourished. Once I went into remission with Inflectra, my hair actually grew back thicker than ever! Obviously it's different for everyone, but I wouldn't worry too much.

It’s so nice to be able hear someone who struggles with the same things I do! It’s so nice to know that I’m not alone in these feelings. I definitely get what you mean about the burning cramping feeling and not being able to move. And colonoscopies and clean outs definitely suck. You want to get checked but it always makes your symptoms even worse.

Thank you for telling your story. I totally get you.I was diagnosed with Crohn's in February 2021,I knew nothing about this Disease until I read more about it and the Doctors explained to me carefully. I Couldn't believe I had a IBD. I had my first flare-up in June 2022 ,my body was deteriorating, I felt it all and it was Horrible, to the point that I had to be hospitalized. I had a ton of body examinations, including stool and Blood tests, pills to take and I was getting really emotional. I just wanted to get better ASAP. After a month I was already getting better and much stronger. I started to eat well and do some workouts. Thank God I feel much better. From time to time, it is good to do some check-ups with your advised doctor to have a better control of Crohn's😊

Some doctors say Crohn Disease is caused by LEAKY GUT and leaky gut is curable, but doctors said you MUST change your diet. Do NOT eat FOOD CHEMICALS ! Please try Visbiome (Medical Food/powder, probiotic) ! 1 packet Visbiome= 450 billion good bacteria I know someone who was diagnosed with Crohn Disease a few years ago. She was in remission for the last two years, but after using IV medicine, she had recurrent infection (side effect) and had to take antibiotics. After using antibiotics 4~5 times in a short period of time, she had inflammation again. Her doctor said Visbiome will not help anything, but she took the medical food anyway (5 packets of Visbiome per day). Within two months, her blood test and fecal exam came out NORMAL (This means she DOESN'T have inflammation anymore). Probiotics die when they come in contact with stomach acid, so you must take it with EMPTY STOMACH (ex) right after you wake up in the morning). I think capsules have some food chemicals in it, so take POWDER PROBIOTIC. Even if there are a lot of good bacteria in the intestines, if there is no food (for good bacteria), they will starve to death. Salmon, garlic, onion, sweet potato, kale, cabbage, broccoli, banana, apple(with peel), plant root (plant root inulin feeds good bacteria All THE WAY TO RECTUM)...etc. I pray for your good health ! Jesus Loves You !

I agree w all those who advocate a diet based approach vs palliating w drugs cuz you refuse to try gluten- free for example. 2nd suggestion; find a homeopath and a functional med/ health coach. Usually both are a wealth of knowledge and can have near miraculous results.

I was diagnosed with UC back in 2012. Recently revised to Crohn's. First 8 years or so were worse & worse. I was eventually put on Remicade, which was great at first, but eventually would stop working after just a week or two. I was definitely headed for surgery. For no particular reason, in 2018 I became a vegan. Within a few weeks, no more symptoms. A snowstorm made me weeks late for my next infusion, but still no symptoms, so I kept pushing it off. I ended up with medication-free remission for 2 years, until I caught COVID, which pushed me into a flare almost immediately. Eventually had to go back on medication to induce remission, but a billing issue meant I couldn't take my 2nd infusion. 12 weeks later and I'm still doing fine. Dr. Robynne Chutkan has a lot of information on YT about fiber and its effect on the microbiome that resonates 100% with my experience, if you aren't already familiar with her. The gist of it is: eat mostly unprocessed foods, avoid added sugar, eat a big variety of plants. It's amazingly effective. My remissions on diet alone are actually more symptom-free than my remissions on medication were (when I ate whatever I wanted, esp. sweets). Hope you're doing okay.

It seems that I'm having a harder time than normal... That might because im anemic...the lowest a guy can be without danger a 16 im at a 7! This lax is PAINFUL and i got dizzy, light headed, there was some tingling and it felt like i got a fever! I drank about 3/4th of it and had to stop... im going to try to finish once i feel close to normal i DONT WANT TO DO THIS AGAIN! I used to be an alcoholic way back so DRINKING this extra thick Gatorade isn't the problem. Im seriously worried about passing out or making my blood even lower...

Very sorry to hear Emily but you can reverse & cure Crohn's 100% easily with raw fermented homemade probiotics like sauerkraut or kefir.. don't use store bought cause they have bad chemicals so make em fresh at home! You"ll feel better just few days after using it, plums are also really powerful as well, take good care hun 💞✌️

Hi James! I’m sorry you’re experiencing migraines. While I no longer get them (they stopped after I went on medication for Crohn’s) I always got an aura. I actually stopped using CBD as it only helped with the milder symptoms. I’ve heard it works wonders for some though!
