Ford Super Duty Front Differential Fluid Change with a LubeLocker - F-250 F-350 - Dana 60
In this video, I show you how I change out front differential fluid in my 2015 F-250 Super Duty. I'm using Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 75W-90. I decided to go with a LubeLocker gasket instead of RTV - I am not a fan of using silicone, messy and takes more time until your up and running again.
Keep an eye out for some more drivetrain fluid videos coming up on the Super Duty, I will be doing ATF and the transmission filter in the spring. Already got an oil change, rear diff and transfer case fluid change video on the channel, take a look around for those ones.
All of these parts, tools, and everything else were bought with my own money, no sponsors here.

Ford Super Duty Transfer Case Fluid - F-250 F-350

In this video, I show you how I change out my transfer case fluid in my 2015 F-250 Super Duty. Existing fluid was ultra dirty, didn't expect that, especially since this fluid was apparently changed at 59k miles, which was only around 30k miles ago. Is there a solution for using a single sump pump with two independent discharge ? For example the sump pumps outputs water to the main sewer, but if the sewer is blocked it opens a valve to output the water to another independent outlet like to the yard or driveway.

Interesting... fordtechmakuloco did a really good video on "lifetime fluids" or high mileage interval fluids. Definitely worth the watch and some really good points made. For how easy the t-case is and being only 2 quarts, I'm going to change it quite a bit more frequently than even the 60k - maybe even yearly going into summer - maybe not that much, lol. I did do my transmission too, a drop and fill with a new filter, just haven't gotten around to editing the video yet - again, just 7 or so quarts of fluid to do a partial refresh of the trans fluid additive package - feels like cheap insurance.

@@treasurestatetoolbags Ya, I've been following that guy when he started. Along with Arod. I have never followed the manufacturer recommended maintenance intervals. I've already done both diffs and about to do them again. Is it overkill? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Gives me a piece of mind though. I just totally slipped on my transfer case maintenance. That being said, I have a buddy with a 2016 diesel and he goes by the manufacturer intervals. He has well over 300K on his truck with zero issues. He tows a dump trailer daily for his business too.

So I have been spending tremendous time digging into the user experience i will get having an AMD Radeon graphics based PC and it seems as though I may need to look at either getting a new PC or going with Creality Otter. I just received a response from Einstar, as follows: "einstar: Thank you for your message and for your kind words of support! We truly appreciate your enthusiasm for our products. You're correct-our software currently leverages NVIDIA's CUDA technology, which means it requires an NVIDIA GPU for optimal performance. We understand that this can be an unexpected hurdle, especially after all the research you've done. If you decide to explore other options in the meantime, we completely understand. I used a mic attached to my camera. You can take a video with your phone up close to each sensor to hear it. You can also feel the sensor with your finger and feel it vibrate or not. The easiest way is with a scan tool - this will diagnose individual sensors or indicate if there is a bigger problem.

I'm seeing more and more videos and comments from people having issues with these MSD packs, which really sucks to hear, MSD used to be my go-to for ignition stuff for years on my other projects and the only reason I bought these when I made this video. I will say I'm still running these without any issues - so I think I may have gotten lucky or may be living on borrowed time. Finally seems like prices on OEM parts are starting to settle down. I'm looking at getting myself a set of Motorcrafts and replacing this back to OEM before I have any issues - I'll do an update when I get a set of Motorcrafts - will probably be a few months though.

This is LIDAR? I don't think so. I believe this is structure light combined with IR. Someone correct me.

Correct, this is not LIDAR, I had misspoken. It is "Infrared VCSEL structured light" per their website.

Awesome! I also own one of these einstars- you can likely cut down on your scan time significantly by pre-processing the part a bit. I use cheap cans of DRY foot powder spray- inexpensive and washes off easily when dry. Subscribed- excited to see more of this project- I am working on something similar with my 2002.

Thanks for the sub! Yeah, I could have cut the time down quite a bit knowing what I know now.
