Wolf Grand Teton National Park. Highway 89
Grey Wolf. Grand Teton National Park. Highway 89.
Driving home from work. iPhone is very zoomed in on the wolf. I couldn’t stop in this portion of the highway (the S turns on 89). Drove slowly and at a distance to give the wolf space until it was able to get to the end of the guardrails. The Grey Ghost slipped into the darkness.

PTERONARCYS Californica is commonly known as a salmonfly. The nymphs live three to four years in the water before emergence. Immediately prior to emerging, the nymphs congregate near the shoreline[4] in shallow water on partially exposed rocks. About one month before emergence Pteronarcys californica nymphs start migrating from the center of the river to the shoreline making them more susceptib...

I live in Montana. It’s Monday, Jan 27 at 6:09 pm. I’m looking off my deck and counted 17 white tailed deer and 27 elk.
Y’all catch any? Or are ya better off to wait until like may 20th?
@@jtonofrey we worked hard to get a few to the net. Not the best fishing I have had on the Smith. My best fishing experience was in late April before the runoff. But it snowed everyday. We caught HOGS.
Thankyou

We were in south fork by Cody years ago when we saw the trees begin to move and soon thousands of elk became visible as they ran through the forest across the river right in front of us. It was the most incredible sight to witness, this reminded me of that moment. Thank you.
@@chelleb3055 thanks for watching. The hill was alive with elk. It was incredible. And to witness the herd like a river of water crossing the fence was amazing
I'm from 🇿🇦 South Africa 🇿🇦..........looks like what we have here on our continent "the great migration" without the hippos and crocodiles. 100% More peaceful!

It seems the line to jump over the fence is never-ending, maybe they're circling around behind you and crossing the fence multiple times.

Coming off East Gros Ventre Butte. Guess they'll head north to the flats and come onto the Refuge along the Gros Ventre.
@@robgrey6183 it was the last week of hunting in the Refuge. They were definitely avoiding the other side of that Butte for a few more days.
I think I counted 10 maybe 12. Non spike bulls in there. 1 big bull that cant breed that many cow's and the rut is over anyway so not sure why their still hanging wot with cow's. Allota elk cow's thinking that area where ever it is might need a cow harvest tag issued
Sooo amazing

Amazing video! I graduated in Wyoming....on a recent trip to CO up in Estes Park we saw a huge herd right at the beginning of town. They told us it was the largest seen there. I got some nice pics but one was of a Pied Bald Cow. She was beautiful and big! I also got pics of a huge male with a rack that was so impressive. What a pleasure to see wild life like this!

@jakerozier77 Thank you Sir.
people dont understand why ranchers get mad about the elk, but a herd this size can eat a haystack per night if it isnt protected . thats why the fences are so high around haystacks
Must have been incredible to see that

Beautiful life! Amazing sight! Thanks from the Netherlands!
GREAT shot dude... that's just insane at the size of that 1 herd... what they truly would benefit from which I would think could be constructed inexpensive and has been done successfully in major metros - is a land bridge... in that specific area that would facilitate them being able to traverse over the road without interrupting traffic and without fear of them getting hit. keep up the wonderful videos!!! thx for sharing.
