I know the song that plays in the intro!! (Maybe was not meant to be part of the challenge lol) I'm not able to say the name but it sounds so familiar. Maybe Chrono Trigger? Number 1, the style reminds me a lot of FF13-2's OST. But I know that OST very well so I would recognize it if it was part of it. I love it, that's for sure! Oh Skullgirls, of course I know the game, but haven't played it. I should at least get the OST, because this is great!! Number 2, Chrono Cross!! Or an early FF. Dayyym FF4 of course, I should have recognized but it's just been too long. I do remember loving its OST. Number 3, TWISTED METAL BLACK!! The main menu when the clown face appears! Alright, this is one I got instantly from literally the first second lol. I played the demo of it at a friend's place when I was a kid. And fun fact that's how I found out about "Paint It Black" from the Rolling Stones and put it on my iPod. Number 4, I don't know at all. Number 5, I want to know this one... but I likely don't. Hahaaa, Street Fighter, nice. Number 6, wild guess, Metal Gear Solid? Whaaaaat, not even close XDDD Hey if you had put Unreal Tournament OST I could have recognized it. But I'm especially big on the OST of the very first Unreal game from 1998. Number 7, I'm going to look really bad if it's actually from a game I played and I don't recognize it... Oh, phew. I just started the remake of that one recently. Jill looks so good in HD. The twist at the start in front of the mirror was great. Haven't continued it yet. I still love the first Resident Evil game from 1996, as well as 7 and 8 that are in the same vein and excellent. Number 8, omg I might know this one... If only the sample lasted longer! My first thought was "fighting game", but I definitely heard it or one very similar to it... CRAAAAP I should have thought for longer XD Now it feels so obvious. So I DID know it! At least I recognized that much. It's kind of unfair with Ys games because all the field/battle themes are great so unless you often relisten to them there are so many tracks to remember. I might remember tracks from Ys9 better. Dang I'm so mad I couldn't tell that one. Looking at the footage I so recognize that area and I now remember very vividly running there at that map change too with this music playing. Sheesh. (I'm not a sore loser I swear! lol!)

How do these shades spawn?

This just broke my controls for all my PS2 games.. Unable to switch back to the deck itself for controls ingame. It does not recognize anything, only when extra PS4 controller is plugged in.

If you play War of Monsters, it will detect the steamdeck itself as a second controller instead of the 2 ps5 controller i already paired. Do you know how to fix that?

Thank you! Labelling the file with the CRC was the one part I was missing. You can also view the CRC in the game summary when you right click and choose properties in PCSX2. Easier than using the compatibility list, and helpful if your game was mislabelled.

can you toggle the cheats on and off within steam deck or do you have to edit the file everytime?

I don't understand, it works for mortal kombat armageddon, but all my other games no longer work, neither the steamdeck game pack nor the ps4 or ps5 controller are detected by my other games, resident evil 2.3 mario kart wii, football, tennis, my controllers no longer work on my other games

I wish I could find help from one of these videos, with the perspective of someone who doesn’t own a pc. 😭 this is hard. All the videos I’ve watched are people with computers and preloaded SD cards, and I’m a just console gamer with a steam deck and no know how.😭

So when I try to launch it, it opens up a menu to the emudeck menu and the screen does not have all of what you're showing when you go to controller settings. I tried moving it out of my SD card to the SSD, because I saw someone like that have a similar problem but it's still not working. I'm not sure what to do. I'm using a PS5 controller and a Switch pro controller and both are connected. Also it let's me move the emulation folder to the desktop but not to Home, don't know if that matters. And now the one game I have emulated isn't loading up properly after moving it anyway.

hey does this work with stock controls as player 1 and xbox contol as player 2?

What worked for me was enabling cheats in ppsspp and then going to .car in hidden files and finding the PPSSPP folder. Then you put the CWC cheats in the PSP folder. There should be a page of code already in the PSP folder that's named a combination of numbers and letters. Click on that and copy paste the cheats you want from the cwc sheet. Hopefully that worked.

to those who have problems finding the right folder: here is an explanation from the emudeck github page In Desktop Mode, open /home/deck/.var/app/org.ppsspp.PPSSPP/config/ppsspp/PSP/ ~/.var is an invisible folder by default, click the Hamburger menu in the top right of the file explorer, click Show Hidden Files Create a Cheats folder here, casing matters If one exists, skip this step Place a cheat.db file in this folder

I saw you had Zelda Four Swords, does it work the same way? Do you have to make them GBA controllers (I know the original game looked for GBA connections)?
