I thought I would share this poem I wrote with you… because it says something about who you are and who Rainn is… A great dragon is in this voice it breathes the fire that’s in this mind its claws dig deep to unleash a wise and ageless Rhyme its tail revolves around a quickening heart in motion to control in position to contract and steal away the sound of life it secretes the musty smoke of burning swords-in-stones it sees itself as Soul and Savior - ONE and with that the story must be Told

Beautiful talk! I really enjoyed this. And about cinematography it made me think about how instead other directors have a lot under control, being famous for the numerous takes, the controlling or severity or the planning in the littlest details, probably thanks to the big budgets too, but more probably because of their personality. It was really interesting hear about how Garden State was coming to life in a different way in the editor’s room, I wonder if it will be different now, all this years later, with probably more time to film, more budget and more experience.

Can't wait to watch this. I remember watching the broken hearts club at the cinema! Muat have been 2001?

When i moved to Hollywood to peruse directing this is the choice you’ll be handed. You’ll see countless examples of people doing acting, directing and producing as full time gigs and get absolutely no benefit in pay. You either make this your commitment and realize it may take 10 to 20 years to get a break or you move on. I sadly don’t regret leaving it because at the end I just wanted to know the truth about it.
