Hi from Uk beautiful view
what happened to episode 17?
It looks so gorgeous! How many hours you took for the hike?
It's beautiful! Not long at all maybe 1.5 hours to the top!
It's wild to me that a content creator that has as many good videos as yourself has so little views and subs. Here for when this takes off. Keep going, even if it's just to document your time spent on the road. Do it for yourself so you can look back in 20 years. Keep it up. :)
aww! This comment is so beautiful, thank you so much 🥲🥲🥲 I will keep it up and exactly that looking back on these and showing my kids will be epic!!
Nice, a day well spent! Thanks for sharing!
No problem!
Hey, i'm doing a ski season this winter and i'm so nervous about meeting people and making friends. How did you find it at the start? xx
It’s honestly so easy. You make really good friends really quickly on season. Just go out with the people you live with as well as talk to people from other companies on nights out and you’ll be grand. Have fun xx
hey, what company are you with
Happy Sunday
and too you too!
I officially need you,Charlotte,to please become a super swimwear model for the rest of your life!
Do you like the Jetta you have now or the C-Max you had back when you were in Britain?
We love our Jetta so much!! love that there's space to sleep in the boot!
Fascinating😊
It was beautiful!
Fascinating😊
It was a beautiful hike!
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 yeah, your hike was beautiful too!
When do you recommend to get there to park at the entrance of the hike
We got there for around 8:45am - probs earlier the better :)
I’m doing a hotel host for VIP ski in les arcs! Any tips will be much appreciated
Have the best time it's incredible!
how did you get on? i’m doing my first ski season this year and have never boarded before! i am petrified that i’ll be the only one who can’t board😖😖x
It was amazing don't stress just tell the company and they will most likely house you with others who havent
nice tour keep it up
Oh, I didn't realise only Ms. Charlie can drive a manual but Mr. Charlie can't.
Steadily getting to 1000 subs.
Eeeel! One day let's hope so - hopefully it inspires others that they can get out there see the world and push their comfort zones :) thank you for being a consistent watcher appreciate you!
Thanks for continuing to daily drive a manual after migrating to Canada.
loveddd the house tour! that cinema room!!!
In Canada and United States, consumption taxes (VAT, sales tax, excise tax) are not included in the sticker price, but shown in the receipt.
We love the synergy between Mr. and Ms. Chariles.
Awww!! Lovely comment ❤
Coming from podcast. I almost thought you forgot the password!
Stoked that you found through the poddie!!🎙🎙
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 I was actually watching your youtube before the podcast but you had a very long break on youtube.
@@erkinalp Amazing! and I did for sure sorry about that - regular uploads now however I am currently experiencing exportation problems so the next install coming asap haah!
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 Hmm, a good opportunity to make a video describing your recording gear and editing software setup
835 for a shared room between 4 omg. if you don't mind me asking, what was they pay like after deductions? :)
Honestly I can't remember but not very good! - they will be transparent about this tho!! you'll probs end up breaking even going out there :) I went without savings and managed fine
as a born and raised Squamish local i just came to say 2 things! NEVER swim in Mamquam falls, google will tell you why and also if you get down closer to the water there is tons of signs saying how dangerous the water is.. and 2, the bears are usually pretty socialized (sadly) and as long as you give them their space they will never bother you and if you’re too close they show lots of warnings before even thinking about attacking you!
AAhhh no way!! I'll have to look into that!! yup 100%!!
Loved this vlog! So cool that these adventures are literally in your neighbourhood😍 and shit! I can’t believe you saw a BEAR 🐻 that is so cool but also so scary😂
yay!! Thanks angel xxxx yesss I know love love love hahah
i am LIVING for these vids already! you are just thriving and radiating happiness!!!
eeek!! I'll keep 'em coming ❤❤❤ love that xx
Such a enjoyable presentation my friend. Brilliant editing 👏👏
Thank you! So happy you loved it ❤❤
Been a ski instructor for 22 years and let me tell you, you're doing fine. Your instructor didn't think anything of it and has considered it a normal part of the learning process if he is worth anything. When other people pick things up quickly it's usually because of cross learnings. Meaning prior experiences have enough similarities that they are starting with certain familiarities with those movement patterns. I always explain it like this; your brain has to build neuro-pathways to do things. It's like the process of going from a dirt path in the woods to a super highway. Day one there's nothing to guide you. Your hacking through the woods with a machete. Then the next time there's the trail you cut last time and the faint outline of a path on the ground. Eventually the path becomes easier to follow and you know the way. Then it turns into a narrow dirt road. After a while longer its a basic paved road. Then after some more time it becomes a wider road capable of transporting more traffic. Then a highway and eventually a large freeway. So those two guys essentially started with dirt paths and all the vegetation hacked back. You were clearing a path for the first time.
I find your honesty quite inspiring. Love your content. Really hope you keep posting. 🙏
Do you need to have a certain level of French proficiency to work a ski season?
I didn't have to but I know certain job roles/ companies you do!
Any new videos on the horizon?
This is so sick. I visit Arc 1950 every year, but never stayed at Bear Lodge/Hameau Des Oursons.
Yesss it's amazing!! It's a fairly new hotel that;s why
Have you had a chance to get your car serviced since this video? Some of those loud bangs sound like they are from loose linkages (to the pedals and gear stick). And no, the video was never pitch dark, the views were awesome.
This vlog truly transported me to the Tuscany. Thank you for sharing this beautiful journey. Like and support from Indonesia
nice vlog
Thank you!
Skiing is still better, fact. Boarding is great but such a hassle.
OOOP!!! hahaah
what job did you have?
I was a hotel host with VIPSKI at Bear Lodge Hotel :)
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 what’s a hotel host?
Any new videos on the horizon?
Just uploaded one
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 Is this the drive with me video you referred to in your latest pack with me video, or is there another video you have not uploaded yet? Also to ask, what model is your car? Can you make a car tour when you have time?
@@erkinalp I was referring to this vid:) they'll be more content asap, thinking of vlogging my birthday in the alps which is this week! Ford ghia cmax
ahhh girl im doing one next year !!! can't wait
Honestly you’ll love it! I’ve done a couple of ski seasons and they’re one of the best experiences of my life :)) x
what area of france are you going to be in!? Maybe if its the same place we can meet up!! xx
i went to Les Arcs!! IT was great :)
I’m in the exact same position having never skied before and will be chalet hosting in the alps this winter (but working for a different company)! You are ahead of me getting lessons before you fly out though haha. Best of luck hope you have the best season :))
eeee hopefully we won't be alone hahah! Which resort are you going too? I hope you have the best time!
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 I’m training in Les Menuires with all the other Chalet Hosts/ Chefs in the company for around 10 days. We don’t find out the actual resort we’ll be working in until the end of training then we move there for a week before guests arrive to set up the chalet!! So who knows where I’ll end up haha.
Congrats! Got my first half marathon in 3 weeks time in London at the Olympic Park - really looking forward to it. Already looking for the next one...
Thank you and wow that's amazing I hope you enjoy it!!!
Congratulations! It is a *big deal* to train, run... and complete 13 miles. I've tried vlogging a few of my runs to*see what it is like*. Simple filming and editing, posting etc I've used the Insta360 go2. A tiny and simple - couple of ounces + couple of buttons. Simple transfer to my smartphone and simple editing (You Cut). Rather than have to fiddle around with a smartphone. Anyway happy running and happy vlogging. Best wishes from a rainy Dorset.
oh wow I hope you enjoy your training :) tysm!!!
Love how you edited your video!! Plus your outfits they’re stunning!!
ohh tysm bbabbe!! glad you enjoyed it 🤍🤍🤍
nice vlog beautiful sharing
thank you so much!
what a cute vlog!!! can't wait to see your next vid!
aw thanks doll! so glad you liked it xxx
Great video ❤
Thanks so much glad you liked it ❤❤❤
Love the ski season videos 🙌🏻 Do you have a UK passport? As I’ve found a lot of ski season jobs have said they don’t take UK passport holders now since brexit :/ So just wondering if you do/how you have gone about it and if it’s affected the process at all xx
Thank you!!! I do have a UK passport, went to get my visa for France yday, VIP help to sort and organise this process. but yes it's harder to find a company that will help with it. My experience has been simple in the sense VIPSKI facilitate it for you! sorry I can't be more help xx maybe just look for companies who will or I know Canada is a fair bit easier to get a visa
@@charlotteelizabeth8918how long did it take to get the visa?? x
Did you ever get to do a season with a UK passport? Any issues? I'm hoping of doing one next year
If VIP pay for board rental I would recommend doing that rather than buying one. You will be able to get a beginner board and then you can buy some decent snowboard wear. Good luck!
ooo thank you so much for this advice! do you have any recco's for boots?
@@charlotteelizabeth8918 I bought my jacket, salopettes and boots from Burton online. The boots have a Boa fastening system and are really comfortable for me. I wouldn’t get lace up ones as although they look good they are a pain to do up. Ideally go to a snowboard shop and get your boots fitted. Believe it or not TK Maxx is a great place to get winter wear and base layers. I bought my helmet and goggles from there first season. Don’t worry about being a beginner. Everyone has to start somewhere. I am still learning and get really frustrated that I am not perfect at it but it takes practice and perseverance. Having a lesson like you did was the best thing as you can successfully stand on a snowboard and are already starting to make turns. I look forward to seeing how you get on for the season.
