they also lost to galatasaray from turkey
I really don’t think 1 player could cause what’s happening to city right now
Rodri isn’t the best in Europe. Man City have paid for him to win the ballon d’or
This has happened forever with tottnem mate your not the only one who knows its where the term "spursy" comes from
Still waiting for the weird.
Spurs are Robin Hood FC. Always beating the rich teams and losing to the small ones
True!
who would you have signed to make the team better
I like the "probable"😂
Thanks for posting
I think you are too tied to formations, positions and "Guardiolism". Although Inzaghi, Just like every great modern manager, has taken stuff from Pep (like the idea of rest defense, of having a double width to exploit the weak side etc.), i think (and it's Just a personal view, to be clarified) that inter's strenght Is in his players' Freedom of intuition on the field. They don't occupate the field according to 325s or 235s, they establish a rest defense (not Always build by defenders, and there we can find the positional fluidity you talked about), two players in wide regions (again, not Always wingbacks) and then all the other players move in order to give the ball carrier a passing option. It's the relation to establish the position and not viceversa. They cannot be read not because their manager Is a Genius, but because there Is nothing to be read, it's all about intuition, it's like a jam session. If the opposition defends with a zonal marking tendency they'll recognize the space in between the Lines, if the opposition defends marking man to man they'll try and free themselves from each duel with the support of link players in order to close up 1-2s or third man combinations. Going long against man to man opposition isn't enough, smart oppositions Will follow you anywhere and anyways (Atalanta Is a great example and Inter Just beat them 4-0 Always Building up with short and vertical passes). In my opinion playing against low blocks and High pressing teams isn't some kind of skill you Need to achieve, there's no "tactic for low blocks" and "tactic for High presses", Simply if they suffucate you you'll need to be more rapid in your choices and the game Will result more vertical, if you play against teams waiting you you'll have to consolidate a possession and wait for the opportunity of verticality, it's simple. The reason why Brighton didn't do well Is because of injuries and a short team for too much competitions. Arguably de Zerbi didn't revolutionate anything, he Just proposed his view of the positional game, he Just created a trend, in football you don't create anything new actually, there have been some Columbus eggs, but they're finishing now. The Truth Is that this has been for Inter, Bologna (and Juve this season) a Natural adaptation to the trends of serie a, where almost every team defends with man orientation (and some, Just like inter, in a man oriented zonal marking), against a zone you have to instruct your players to position in nevralgic spaces that already are there, in England that's what almost everyone does, against man marking you need to create space with movement, and given the fact that they are constantly adapting to your shape it's obvious that you should'nt have a predetermined shape, but instead move to seek the space in between the men. Pep once said "it's not us that we must move, but the ball, if we move too much we lose" and that was true, but in a world of zonal marking defences. The Truth Is that the modern game Is going back to the old game, everything Is so unpredictable that player's on field intuition Is the Key, they have to know how to play in every way possible and against every way (zonal, man marking, low blocks, High pressing etc.) so the manager becomes more of a master to the players that to other managers, he becomes less of an orchestra director. That's why i don't like to hear about geniuses and teams that win thanks to managers, the most important part shouldn't be about the philosophy (that should instead try to make players smart and universal), but about the methodology (and that's where the real manager's work Is) and about players intelligence, ability and growth. At least this Is my view (and the One i have right now)of football and of what really counts in the modern game, it's normal that two people don't agree on something, i recommend you an article published by Figc herself called "a new era", It can be read both in italian and in english and it is a simple and kinda summative essay on what football Is looking forward to. BTW: Sorry for bad english, i know it's a cliché, but... Yeah 😂
Cute, but there is another thing that would have been interesting to face: Inzaghi has always wanted and had the left half-back who is a classic attacking midfielder, slow but who has good feet to play between the lines (L.Alberto, Chalanoglu, Mikitarian)
Nice but you forgot like 200 things even more impressive
don't speculate brother. Saka is bad in terms of taking on his man(48% completion) while vinicius and doku are the best (99% completion)
Simone Inzaghi "The Demon"
Forza Inter 💙🖤💙🖤
The fact ur trying to Learn the speed flip and can’t even get through the menus is kinda embarrassing and just saying to probably one of the best coaches in rocket league with 10000+ hours he’s overthinking it is a disgrace maybe play the game for more than 10 hours I’m sorry but it’s true
Shut up 0 ball knowledge entered the building
They did win the fa cup so...
Daaaaammmn it was all perfect until you said Arnautovic gave a good contribution ahahah that dude has been a disaster for us, we are hopong to get rid of him in any way possible, but it's gonna be tough cause he wants to stay at Inter. Btw very very good video, you explained a lot of Inter tactics and traits, but as you said there's "another one and another one and another one" ahahah so yeah it's impossible to break them all down. Nice, keep up the good work!
Replacing Southgate is the biggest mistake in British football history

PSG has a good team. Stop joking
Southgate as been good for England and has narrowly missed out on trophies. Having said that, it's time for a change and for a more attacking England.
I disagree, I don't think good is scraping past minnows and losing to the first good side. In tournament football he has had maybe 2 good wins, Germany and Netherlands and they where not great versions of those nations. The fact we have gotten to two finals and a semi mask the fact we have not really progressed under his management. Not to mention the turgid, disjointed football we played with world class players.
Lies again? Plane Ticket All Anal
Bro they will still win going for 5,just play ortaga
Cole palmer
If big ed leaves, i think diogo costa would be a solid replacement. Not left though as of yet! Lets hope he stays
BLUE COMMENT???
Of course 🩵
Name 1 player that played for u before 2008 No googling 🚫
The worst england manager in history, don't know how he actually got a managers licence 😂
But has got us to 2 Euros finals, 1 World Cup semi final and 1 World Cup quarter final. Not very bright are you... We've had other groups of amazingly talented players and still not achieved what Southgate has. But facts seem to be too much for you.
@@robiiiinaas doesn't matter about getting to finals its winning that counts and Southgate will never win anything, except the worst manager award
@@robiiiinaas Although you are correct. Can you honestly name another manger who's had such as easy run with the groups then the knockouts as England have had last 3 tournaments? They'd have done just as well without Southgate against the teams they matched against. Southgate's negative boring football set England up to not get beat instead of to go out and win. Being the better team 90% of the time but still playing like they're the underdogs. Not to mention they got some late goals this tourny otherwise they'd had been out a lot earlier as well.
I think arsenal won't be much different to last year and can't see city being as good this year as last and then pep will leave next summer and whos going to replace him?
Come on Arsenal!
I hope not
It's not about 4 33 or 4 2 1. This is nonsense and has no meaning.its how good they are on the day.
0 ball knowledge
Ah yes the tacticless strategy, that always wins
A bunch of mostly unknown kids from spain won it well beating the best in the world along the way... meanwhile england fanz boo their own team off the pitch win or lose vilianise the most successful manager england have had in many decades! last euros vilianise saka... it was totally only his fault right? then moan that you don't win stuff after you act like that and treat your own team with such contempt. And this time it's southgate's fault right! nothing else could be true!
When you come to a Euros with no left backs injured or not and then not knowing your best 11 or even complaining about no kalvin Phillips...eyebrows will be raised
@@JoltzDaGhost ohhh ye of course! totally bro... can't be anything else right? got to double down on the common narrative! and when you guys are busy booing your team off the pitch in 2 years at the WC... you'll have another stupid thing to blame then also.
@@DAGATHire nah i dont like england like that anyways lol but you cant lie coming to a major tournament without a properly organised squad is crazy
Even if he wanted to play a name I feel like playing TAA in midfield and having him constantly swap and invert with Ben White to be the pivot with Declan Rice would've completely solved this problem.
Southgate had a number of options that had a decent chance of improving play and he was disinterested in trying them. While Southgate deserves credit for "good man management" in terms of raising England's spirit and ambition to be serious competitors, in other respect his man management terrible. Under pressure, he relies on favorites and does not seem to want to think about his bench. For example, it is understandable that he prefers solidity over starting TAA at RB or midfield. But when you have fallen behind and desperately need a goal, continuing to be so predictable is foolish. It is beyond foolish to let your keeper spam long balls poorly, when Trent is arguably the best long ball passer in world football today and Trent is sitting on the bench. Even a blind man could make better decisions.
good video
Thanks!
Greatly enjoyed this superb vid. Grew up in Canada where coaching was/is non-existent besides telling you to just “play.” Missed out on a lot of tactics and logic of team-play because of it. Very informative vid 👍
