I saw a lot of white skin, don’t be afraid to smoother that bird in seasoning as some doesn’t stay on. I bet it was good though.

The way we used to do it (precook): Put the turkey in the pot…put in water about 3” from the top…take out turkey and mark the water line. The day of cooking: Put oil into pot up to the line…once it’s ready, GENTLY insert turkey into oil. Once submerged, unlatch the hook and let that turkey do its thang! 🦃
