Kinda frustrating when the products are out of focus for 80% of the video
I’m sorry! I’ve been juggling with different cameras so definitely don’t have everything down to a T! I’ll keep trying to do better!
Nice video man, I am upgrading from a ZV-e10 mk 1 and saw insane things about how great the auto-focus is on the E1 is compared to the A7SIII, I've heard of people swapping out batteries to prevent overheating issues, is this a potential fix if you just record at XAVC S 4K 24p in 1 hour batches and then swap out batteries?
Thanks you so much!!! And yes swapping out batteries will definitely help and at 4k 24p you should be able to get 1 hour of battery life if you are in a 75 degrees or cooler place You can always shoot at a lower bit rate to increase the amount of overheating if your goal is to at least get to the 1 hour mark
should i get this set or save money and go for the fx30 ? I shoot video only
I mean with the Zv-e1 you are getting the Fx3’s sensor which is better than Fx30 But if you are shooting for long durations then maybe get the fx30 But if you can I would get the fx3
I want to mount the GoPro to an excavator. Will the magnet stick to the excavator? Or does it only stick to the magnet on the necklace?
It will stick to an excavator for sure!
Dam you cost me money 😂 thanks for a great video and ideas!
lol I’m sorry! Just trying to help out hahaha 😂 And thank you!
It's rare to record 4k 120 frame for long takes like a live concert or stage play or interview. For "normal" 4k at 30 frame, what times did you get with the fan? I was waiting for that test.
th-cam.com/video/BcW5DvHDvXo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M7SdPa20dgMgR3Py
Here is the video that test out both the SmallRig and the Tilta fans but for 24p which is the test I did it was no overheating, it recorded for 3 hours and I just stoped the test cause it was too long haha
Great video
Thank you!
NO HOW DO I TURN OFF THE VR SETTINGS 😭😭😭
what I meant was how do I change it
I got this online since I don’t have them with me: open the Nvidia Control Panel, navigate to "Manage 3D Settings," then under the "Program Settings" tab, select the application you want to adjust and simply turn off any VR-specific options like "Virtual Reality - Variable Rate Supersampling" by setting it to "Off.
@@PRTPHO Thank you for responding but it didn't really work, but it's fine because I can play it well anyways, tysmm :D
@ I’m sorry it didn’t. 😭 which one do you have?
Well, impossible to buy Neewer from amazon.
Sad! I definitely bought mine from there, they must have sold out hard!
@@PRTPHO Yup. And not even at the USA Amazon.
Maybe Alibaba express
Sad
Why sad?
Great video and really straightforward. I hope you report back on the lifespan of the chemicals. Thanks!
Well I’ll have to re-do it, I wasn’t able to develop film as fast as I wanted and in 3month both solutions were substantially dark, the unused one was a bit lighter but I used it to develop friends film and it did not work properly. So definitely gonna have to redo after I have at least 16 rolls ready to be developed
@@PRTPHO understood
Right now I have a batch that I made on January 5 than I’m mixing back to its original and after 3 rolls is still going strong in February 5 I’m gonna develop 3 more roll and the how it does after one month
For me the 2.8 and smaller size on the 20-40 is more important that the 30mm on the 20-70. With the 20-40, I can do Astro and it actually works well. I tried with a f4 lens and didn’t come out how I would like. Also, when traveling I find myself to often be in darker environments where the 2.8 helps (inside buildings, restaurants, etc) I know you can de noise in LR, but I’d rather not have to. This makes it so that when I’m backpacking and camping or going out to darker places, I can bring only the tamron, vs the 20-70 I’d have to bring it AND some kind of prime lens. Also, when traveling I really only seem to care about environmental shots, and almost rarely feel the need to even go beyond 28mm (my favorite FL) Also… there is the price difference. But, this is just me. Everyone’s use cases are not the same.
I totally see your point! There are always gonna be drawbacks and advantages depending on the set up and it’s definitely a use case which one works for you! But I like your thought process! Which camera are you peering it with?
@ a7c ii. It’s a fantastic setup!
Thank you! very helpful. Can you help me use PromptSmart on my iphone when I am filming in selfie mode, cinematic? I havne't got that part down.
I just went into the mobile app to try to do cinematic mode with the PromptSmart app but I can make it happen, it just uses the main cameras
Good points. I've been in the Sony APS-C line for some time, and of course all the lenses. I wanted to get my first full frame camera, but also wanted a hybrid. Last summer I did a wedding, and some portraits, so I'm getting more into the photography side. I went with the A7Cii, and the 20-70mm f4. I picked up a few budget primes, but I plan to replace those one by one with Sony lenses when I can afford to do so.
Thank you 🙏🏽 yeah that Sony a7cii I such a good way to dip your toes in full frame and in Sony for that matter! Hopefully you can get some prime soon!
Great video! Curious, do you live in Orlando? I saw you have photos at Universal Studios. I ask because I live in Oviedo (pretty much orlando). Could be fun to shoot together.
Thanks Paul! I live in FL but not in Orlando I’m like 3 and a half hours away from you haha
@@PRTPHO Dang, maybe one day lol
For sure! I’ll hit you up if I’m ever going up there for work or for fun! It think it would be cool!
Small world,🌎 oviedo too!
I know! So close yet so far haha
Thank you, I have watched so many video and yet I hadn't seen the neewer model and it will suit my needs perfectly.
That’s awesome to hear! Glad I was able to help! Thanks for watching Dean! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I was just wondering which combination to pick for the next travel. Thanks for this video!
Glad I could be of some help! Which combo did you decide on? Any of the two in the video or did you get something different?
@@PRTPHO ZV E1 and 20-70 for Senegal
@ I think you are gonna have a blast! I used it in Puerto Rico and it was great. I’m a wide aperture snob so I was missing the f2.8 and f1.4 but the set up was so light weight! It was actually enjoyable to use
Best combo. Try sigma 16-28 f2.8 and sigma 28-70 f2.8, small and powerful lenses
Definitely gonna take a look!👀 thanks for the suggestion!!
are these lens for full frame only i have the a6700
Those lenses are for full frame cameras
Yes they are! If your.a6700 has an 1.5 crop mode then you can use them
Any thoughts on the Falcam F22 pocket 3 cage?
I think it’s a really good one! The fact that you can still use the original case that came with the Pocket 3 I think it’s a great thing! Also the fact that you have access to the card slot without the need to remove the cage is also very nice! I actually think I might buy it and give it a try🤔 Thanks for suggesting that, this is the first time I’m hearing about this cage but overall it looks pretty functional
@@PRTPHO I am trying to go for a minimalistic setup with mounting points, wide-angle lens always attached, and a much smaller footprint when setting it down on a desk. No protective case out there can accommodate pocket3 without removing the wide-angle lens except for the original case, so I'm gonna keep that. Then I came across Falcam, and I just ordered it to try. Footprint wise I'm gonna try the Ulanzi PK08 and PK11. It's a super mini tripod. It's super tiny and cute, worth checking it out.
That’s true! Which is why I like the Falcam F22 since it allows you to use the original case! I’m so torn haha
Good review but I guess your top camera shot is mirrored because the record button is on the left side and TILTA is written backwords. I just bought the Neewer thanks to you.
Thank you! And yes the top camera is mirrored! I’ll try not to make that mistake again! Yay! I’m glad I could help!
@@PRTPHO I hope the Neewer will also work with the new Dji Pocket 4 end of this year.
Haven’t heard much about it but I can’t wait to see it!
incredible info, thank you for sharing and testing. I really want the Sony FX3 but the sony ZV-E1 with the right setup can almost take me there. I bet if you used a dummy battery into your v-mount battery and the cooling fan, maybe it wouldn't overheat.
It was my pleasure! Thanks for watching it 😁 That’s one thing that I think will help since the battery door will be open and the charge is just passing through the dummy battery and not coming from inside it. I just didn’t have one since I’m not used to using it!
SICK!
Thank you 🙏🏽
It's really annoying that you keep calling it "Telesini". It's TELESIN. And you say it has a max range of 16'? That's next to useless in most outdoor environments. And it's completely dumb? Just latching onto any face it sees? Is it weatherproof? It's far from perfect, by the sound of it. As an Action 5 Pro owner, I'll stick with my Hohem iSteady Pro 4 gimbal, which cost $70 but is far more capable.
Telesini just sound better and it’s easier for me to say. It useful if you are shooting out in nature where there are no people around which is what I like to do so it’s most definitely not dumb to me. If it’s raining I’m not shooting outside so that doesn’t bother me either. So for me it’s pretty perfect! Glad your Hohem works well for you but after a quick search I wouldn’t get it, action cams have amazing stabilized footage so why a gimbal for it? That seems dumb.
@@PRTPHO So, you agree it has shortcomings, but ignore them because it suits you? Right. And why get a gimbal for an action cam? Well, tracking for starters, plus the ability to power the camera through the gimbal. Then the extra reach it gives me in certain situations. In good light, I turn off EIS in the camera and avoid any cropping of the image. And, in low light, I can turn off EIS in the camera and avoid light jitters. Seems very sensible to me. And did you not suggest action cam users might like this TELESIN device?
It may have shortcomings for some people but not for me. I didn't talk on them because those are not issues that would affect how I use it plus those weren't issues that came to mind, and since I'm reviewing ti after using it then I can only talk to my experience with it. Not being weatherproof is not something thats a downside to me. Glad you pointed it out, this is exactly what the comment section is for so nice work. Thats such an amazing point as to why for you the gimbal is such a useful tool, seems like it give you a lot of benefits, I'm like super happy for you :) They might like it and if they do they can get one, if they buy it and it doesn't fit their needs then they can return it haha
I seen the painted nails and I'm out
That’s alright 💅🏽
u should see the content he is presenting instead . he did a great job with the video and explanation
Thank you!’ I appreciate that! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
the Action 5 Pro Love the Subject Tracking over the Pocket 3, and got a pocket 3 with restricted panning, maybe it would have made sense to get the Telesin if one wants tracking
That’s why you would want it cause tracking is its main thing, I already have the Pocket 3 and I love it so it’s perfect for this Telesin Smart Tracker, allow for the 360 tracking and tilt tracking because of the Pocket 3
Heyy did you know you can do what you did with the Neewer (DJI screen facing you) with the Ulanzi? The Ulanzi logo has action camera quick release compatibility. It's actually on all 4 sides, so it had 4 mounting points as well as GoPro mount and 1/4-20 thread
Ahhh I see what you are talking about! Didn’t notice those mounting points but that’s with the ulanzi action mount which adds bulk to the set up if all I need is a 1/4”-20 thread! But if you do use that system then it’s super useful! Thanks for pointing that out! 🙏🏽
Great video !
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! 🙌🏽
thanks for doing these tests!
Of course! It was nice to get decent results for me and for y’all as well!
Amazing perspective! And congrats on 1k!🎉
Gotta use those leading lines ya know haha and thank you so much! I guess consistency and hard work pays off 🎉🎉🎉
Great video! I’ll be picking one of these up for my Osmo. I subscribed and looking forward seeing more videos🙂
Thank you so much! I’m glad I was able to help out, let me know if there is anything in particular you want to see or know 😁
I guess I don't understand why you would switch from the small handle mount to the battery in the first place. I've literally never used the small handle mount to begin with, it's kinda worthless.
That’s fair! It depends on the situation, if I’m using it for travel then there are instances where I like to have the smaller grip (if I don’t need the extra battery) so I can connect the tripod, but if I’m just going out on like a little outing and I know all of it will be hand held then I leave the small handle at home to keep the P3 more manageable I do wish they would have gone away with the small handle and added a 1/4” mounting point to the P3
@PRTPHO yeah that's what I mean, I don't ever use it without a handle. My hands are too big and it's way too small for no handle at all. I'm also always filming through most of the day when in use, so there's never really a time I wouldn't be utilizing the battery handle to extend the life of the p3 for that day's use.
For sure! Long term use the battery is 100% necessary! But hey I just figured I’d show all the scenarios I had in mind just in case! Have you ever bought a second battery grip?
Small rig is better? For the first test it last 28 minutes
Yeah, that was my conclusion, I’m gonna be posting a comparison video between the two just to show the findings
@@PRTPHO thank you 🙏🏻
No problem! Thank YOU for watching! 😁
Nice thorough video! A couple things. You didn’t mention that the Tilta cage has Nato mounts. I was leaning towards that one until you pointed out that there’s no front or back mounts. The other thing is although I love your energy and content you should not use the word “technically” as much. Minor point for an overall enjoyable video. Oh yeah, it was great you problem solved with the Dremel. I agree that the Neewer is the best pick after that mod.👍
Wow thank you so much for the constructive criticism! I appreciate it very much! Saying technically is definitely a crutch 🩼 of mine so I’ll do better, ether to not say it or edit it out haha 🤣 I didn’t I didn’t mention it because I couldn’t think of the word and I called them something else when I recorded it, but I guess I could have done an annotation on the screen. Thank you so much for watching it 🙏🏽 and yeah the Neewer is definitely my he winner, it’s still attached to my poket 3 haha

😁😁😁😁
Amazing photograph! What camera are you using for this photo btw?
Hey L4P! Thank you so much!!! I’m using the Fujifilm X100vi
Why is the overhead footage mirrored?
It makes it easier for me while making the video to show the things, but I guess I can mirror it back in DaVinci Resolve so y’all can see it correctly! Thanks for pointing that out! I appreciate it! 🙏🏽
Why the table so jiggling
Cause I mounted the camera to the table! 😭 But I fixed it! I know have it on a Round Base Monopod so that will stop happening! Thanks for pointing it out! Let’s me know it was too obvious 😅
Great video
Thank you so much! I appreciate it! 🙏🏽
Thanks for this 🫡 I just wish you showed us 4k60p though
I’ll have a video coming soon comparing both cages and fans, in that one I do 4k 60p (sorry about not having it in this video)
It's odd to not have a mount plate on the front, who walks around with POV shoot with the screen facing what your shooting. No discretion whatsoever. People will see your themselves on the screen adjust.
I mean I definitely wouldn’t like that so definitely gotta have the screen pointing back
Nice video mate, really real and great to watch your first time experience, I just got my Lab Box today so am excited to develop my first film…subscribed ❤
Thank you so much for the Sub, means a lot! Definitely let me know if you like it! I mean it’s definitely one of my favorite film gear since it makes things so easy!
How tall are you? I'm trying to see if it would be long enough to wear as a crossbody. The peak design strap's maximum length is around 58" I believe.
I’m 5’6” and I use it as a crossbody! I do like to have them on a short leash so even with the Clever supply one it’s not all the way extended when I use it as crossbody
@@PRTPHO thanks for the response brother. Would love to see an update video of how the strap patina'd
Of course! As soon as I’m done with the videos and have in line I’ll make one 😁
Does the tilta cage help with heat ? My other one is a solid plastic and I only get 10 min or so
You get overheating with the OP3? I didn’t think it overheated since it’s never happened and I’ve never heard of it
It is so frustrating wanting to use the pocket 3 to record performances and to have it overheat. (Using the dji cage and without it)
Are you recording outside in the heat and in 120p?
@@PRTPHO actually inside in a church. I am recording in 30 fps and am turning off the screen during record. After 10-15 minutes the unit cancels the record due to heat. I am glad to hear that there is hope... it is just a matter of finding the time to do a lot more testing
Interesting! I just started a test at 4k 30 with the mic connected as well! I’ll keep it going until it overheats and let you know what I get! This will be with no cage installed
too many effects, show us the raw photo
That’s just my edits on it!
@ yeah and in my opinion they make the photo different from what it originally was. why not show the original? if it doesn't matter, it should look just as good
But it does matter cause that’s how I wish to edit my photos, it’s like asking a painter to do the same painting but with different colors, one has the freedom to make their art however they want! 👍🏽
@@PRTPHO okay yeah thats a valid reason, I will go about my day. farewell internet stranger
It was good talking to you 👍🏽 farewell!
A 200mph 😂
Si tú quieres te lo…. Aquí haha
Nice
Thank you! 🙏🏽
I have a question that maybe you can answer. I have a Swedish CD set, I made it to unit 4 a long time ago. Now on my new computer, everything past unit 2 is locked. The phone app shows I completed up to unit 4, but it's also locked in there. What's up with that? I paid $300 for a program that is supposed to be good forever, but locks progress now? I can't activate the CD set anymore, it redirects me to buy Rosetta Stone again via their website. It gives an error via the mobile app, and says there's no internet access when trying to activate via desktop program(even though there most certainly is)
It sounds like you’re facing a common issue with older Rosetta Stone products due to their transition from CD-based software to a subscription-based model. Why Are Units Locked? 1. CD Activation Servers Offline: Rosetta Stone no longer supports CD-based versions actively, and the activation servers for these products may have been retired, making it impossible to unlock additional units. 2. Account Synchronization: While your progress may still be visible on the app, it’s likely tied to the subscription model, not the CD set, causing a mismatch. 3. Transition to Subscription Model: Rosetta Stone has shifted to online subscriptions and may be encouraging users to migrate by limiting functionality of older products. What Can You Do? Here are some steps you can take to regain access to your Swedish course: 1. Contact Rosetta Stone Support: • Reach out to their customer support with proof of purchase (receipt, serial number, or account details). • Explain your situation, and ask if they can either unlock the remaining units for you or provide access to the equivalent online course. 2. Check Legacy Software FAQs: • Visit the Rosetta Stone support page to see if there are updates, patches, or workarounds for older CD-based products. • Sometimes, they offer discounts or free subscriptions to compensate for lost access. 3. Try Offline Activation: • If the software allows manual activation via a code or file, look for an offline activation method in the settings or user manual. 4. Use a Virtual Machine or Old Computer: • If you have access to an older computer with the CD version installed, you might be able to run the program there. Alternatively, you could set up a virtual machine with an older operating system compatible with the CDs. 5. Transition to a Subscription Plan: • If you’re unable to unlock the remaining units, Rosetta Stone often provides discounts for transitioning to their online subscription plan. While this isn’t ideal, it could allow you to continue learning where you left off. You can send this to Rosetta Stone Support: Subject: Assistance with Unlocking Units in Legacy CD-Based Swedish Course Dear Rosetta Stone Support, I purchased the Rosetta Stone Swedish CD set several years ago for approximately $300. I had previously reached Unit 4 using the desktop program and mobile app. However, on my current setup, everything beyond Unit 2 is locked. When I attempt to activate the software: • The desktop program indicates a lack of internet connection (even though there is one). • The mobile app acknowledges my progress up to Unit 4 but also shows these units as locked. • Attempts to reactivate the product redirect me to your website to repurchase access. Given the significant investment I made in this program, I am seeking assistance in either: 1. Unlocking the remaining units in my CD-based version, or 2. Transitioning my purchase to your current online subscription model without requiring an additional fee. I can provide proof of purchase, the product serial number, or any other details necessary to verify my ownership of the program. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.”
