Honourably Spotting Trains
United Kingdom
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 16 ต.ค. 2015
Greetings all, welcome to my channel! :)
I've always had a fascination for trains, so I decided to make it into a hobby with TH-cam. Most trips I do involve journeys in and around London and the Southeast and slightly further out.
I currently have no proper schedule for filming. During University times I try for once every 2 weeks, but it can vary depending on weather/holidays/engineering work etc.
I hope you'll enjoy my videos, and thanks for joining me on my quest to Honourably Spot those Trains! :P

Trains at Hartford (WCML) - 29/05/2024
The 223rd video of my train spotting adventures.
-----
This video follows on from the video at Winsford, one stop up the WCML to Hartford railway station. A small, 2-platform, DfT Category D "Medium Staffed" train station, it was first built and opened back in 1837 by the Grand Junction Railway, much like Winsford to the south. Not much information exists for me to talk about this station, save for the buildings being greatly rationalised around the 1960s during the West Coast Electrification Project.
-----
Filmed on the:
West Coast Mainline
-----
Services seen:
AWC) Services towards Crewe, Stafford, Wolverhampton, Birmingham New Street, Birmingham International, Coventry, Nuneaton, Rugby, Milton Keynes Central, Watford Junction, London Euston, Runcorn, Liverpool Lime Street, and further stations towards Carlisle and Edinburgh/Glasgow.
-
LNR) Services towards Acton Bridge, Runcorn, Liverpool South Parkway, Liverpool Lime Street, Crewe, Stafford, Penkridge, Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street.
-----
Trains seen:
AWC) Class 390 Pendolino, Class 805 (test)
LNR) Class 350 Desiro
WMR) Class 730 Aventra (test)
GBRf) Class 66
FL) Class 66

Nice video at Winsford mate
Good catch
Love the video but there are not class 91s or 90s these are class 43s the 91s are electric locomotives in passenger service with LNER on the east coast mainline and the class 90s are now fright locomotives with Freightliner.
@@AScottishTrainFan thank you! And you'll notice there are some 90s/91s in the video, I decided to add them since they're much like the 43s during that time; all 3 classes were being phased out of service.
Excellent video. Have a great weekend. 😀
Especially when they have the paxman engines.
They are extremely noisy, believe me.
Excellent video. Nicely done. 😀
Thank you! :)
Absolutely wonderful video
Am I the inky one who notices the 397 on the back?
Do you have a full trains at video at Oxford coming on the channel?
Not at the moment but I do want to make another one closer to when the station is upgraded or when East West Rail opens. There is one on my channel from a year or two ago :)
@@HST_Productions what about didcot
@@Zuuu40 I'll definitely be going back to Didcot again, possibly earlier than an Oxford revisit :)
Did you see 390 119 pass on platform 4?
Ran this line a few times over the years, can't believe the track into London or the whole line is not electrified, some much for ULEZ diesel trains into Marylebone,
Not 769s though, I know your train enthusiasts I am but these are really 319s saw them from new as a kid n spent most of my life on those 319s so for me myself, I've gotta say they're originality of what they were, 319s
Except they are 769s…
@@callumradford3680 I'll stick to the originality of what they were, to me as a kid from Brighton n seen on the BML for the majority of my life, I know them as 319s sure people will say a 769 but myself, I won't, I'll say a 319
They are essentially still 319s, but you could say the same about the hydrogen Class 768s; by that logic and the legal structural changes made, it's a different class of train.
@@andysessford2659 you can call them whatever you like, they’re still 769s on TOPS and everything official!
5.37 Manchester Central not Manchester Exchange.
Great video!! 👍
Proper miss hearing these about 😢
Good Train Class 68027
Yes Train Class 68 Mk5 nova 3
Are you Train Class 68 Mk5 nova 3

So beautiful trains! Greetings from Brasil 🇧🇷
Nice video!
Very nice video my friend!
Really enjoyed this episode 👍
Thank you! :)
Wonderful video my friend, so beautiful trains!
I’m your brother 387…
Why they are going to storage so early? Well, class 720 is nice, but i like Electrostars more!
What does TLC mean? Also cool that you got SE services at blackfriars
TLC means Thameslink Core, which is the core section of the overall Thameslink rail service area between Blackfriars and St Pancras International And yeah, during peak times they run passenger services here; the one I filmed was an empty stock move.
@@HST_Productions oh I’ve never seen TLC before as an acronym for Thameslink core. Looks so obvious now you’ve pointed it out
Super like ! Wonderful trains! Greetings from Brasil 🇧🇷
Wonderful video!
I prefer class 88 only because of the convenience of the pantograph
