I just don’t understand why you guys think being a dick is ok just because you can legally. Yea you can legally fish peoples docks, but you’re invading their “home” space. You can legally record in public, but to stand outside a restaurant sticking a camera up to the window is the same dick move.

What year boat is the ranger your installing the seats in

I take an air hose with a blow gun and a vacuum the air helps get the embedded sand dirt etc up to where the vacuum can get it out then I use the the carpet machine drill and the same cleaning solution in the spray bottle and do the same exact thing. To me using the blow gun and vacuuming at the same time helps get it cleaner yes it’s a little more time consuming but it’s worth it

I've been fishing the Ca Delta for 25+ years. I run into these guys probably 4-5x a year especially in Dicovery Bay where the 4 and 5 million dollar homes are on the water. Usually I just turn a deaf ear to them but there has been a few times I've fired back at people, sad part it's usually the wife that gets shitty then the husband feels obligated to protect his wife.... its so funny when they say "your not allowed to fish here".. they always say they own the water blah blah blah

i don't know who owns this lake but in my experience the state or county's in other lakes power company owns 8 to 10' of our land and the lake and even tho we built the dock we had to get the power company to accept our dock build on the water, says we can use the dock as a private dock but they can take it down if they want to. so im guessing it's similar in other states??

Before I knew any better, I too my bass boat to a detailer to have the carpets cleaned. They did a great job, but its cost almost 600 bucks. Im thinking to myself there is no way im paying that every year to clean the carpet on my boat. Now what I do is mix up a solution of dawn soap, vinegar, and water in one of those chemical sprayers. Saturate all of my boat carpet with that. Then I fill the sprayer up with just plain warm water and saturate it again. I use a chemical sprayer because it lets me saturate the carpet without hosing down the hole inside of the boat like I see some people do. Then I will use one of those brushes that I attach to a stick and brush all the carpet agitating all the dirt. Then I go through with my Mytee heated extractor that I fill with water and a deodorizer to leave my boat smelling good haha. This is a more expensive way of doing it, but you only buy this stuff once then after that its just paying for itself. The extractor cost about 700 bucks if I remember correctly. The chemical sprayer was like 20-30 bucks, and the brush on a stick is like 20-30 bucks and you have a quick way to clean you boat carpet for many years. More expensive, but saves time, and pays for itself after 1 or 2 carpet cleans.

From what I have noticed from these videos. The people who have a problem with fisherman is number one they don’t fish and number two they have zero clue of the laws. It isn’t good when a hook flies into his pontoon seat and rips it. I just feel when you have the entire lake to fish why cast close enough where a lure could be broke off on his dock. If your going to fish by docks cast well short of docks. I think property owners on Higgins lake in Michigan actually own the water well out into the lake.

I don't care about your dock. You accepted the risk of putting a dock on public waters and therefor provided cover for bass and other fish. You have no right to tell people they can't fish around your boat or dock. You don't like remove it from the lake. That is it! If you are so worried about your boat getting damaged then you shouldn't of bought a boat. I can promise you that a lure isn't going to hurt your boat because most lures are made of plastic and lead. Lead is softer then metal and no way in hell it is going to hurt a pontoon float. These are people that are just stupid and controlling or trying to lie to justify their behavior. The weather is going to do way more damage to your boat then any fisherman ever could.

I didn't care for the first 16 minutes of video . Thats not what the title was about, the shortest part is what we chose to watch. Especially the part where you are sitting on a boat in a garage drinking the most conversal beverage of all time. Sorry i get it now, if I were to drink that I too would drink it in my man cave on my boat instead of taking the abuse about fishing and drinking that bi beverage.

You ruined your day engaging with this guy. I hang ear pods out of my shirt so when this happens, I put them in and go about my day. Don't interact with these people, you lose fishing time then you spend 2 hours thinking about it when you should be enjoying your day. Just a thought.

I've encountered this before. People think they own the water. One guy did it the "smart" way. He started throwing half filled gallon jugs in the water, splashing, to scare the fish away. I dropped anchor, leaned back, and pretended to take a nap with my bait in the water anyway.

It’s clear he is not an angler because if he were her would know that fish often times hang out under docks, downed trees, and grassy shorelines. I am a homeowner who lives on the Saint John’s River. I also fish everyday throughout the river in my boat….all around other people’s docks. If you don’t want human interactions, you wouldn’t buy property on PUBLIC waters. Go 50 miles into the woods and spend $500,000 on a huge man-made pond and stock it. Otherwise, shut up and leave people alone.

Having a dock in a public lake is a privilege and in my state harassing fishermen is a good way to lose that privilege. They will make you take your stuff out of the lake.
