I know I’m late to the party but the fix actually works. I deleted my gta a few weeks ago then I felt the urge to play it once more. So I tried to install it and when it got to 12% the ps 4 would make a weird noise then the disk would stop spinning and the blue screen would appear. So I tried this method 2 times. First time when the blue screen appeared I left like that for 2 hrs came back and put the ps on rest mode for a few seconds then turned it back on. Lol it did not work so I gave up. Second time I tried this I left it on the blue screen for 4-5 hrs. When I came back I could hear the music that plays when installing the game playing in the background mind you the game was still showing the blue screen. So I put the ps on rest mode again,turned it on and voila it the game started loading up in the story mode. It actually works so just be patient.
