Great video! I bought the same bearing removal/install tool from Jims a few years ago, it is the BEST. No more pounding with a hammer and a long drift, damaging the wheel around the bearing. One "cool" tip to the install I would mention, is to put the new bearing in the freezer for 30 minutes, keep it in the sealed plastic bag. The new bearing goes in a lot easier when chilled.

One of main items overlooked on mc maintenance. New rubber? Always fresh bearings, and yes keep that axle lubed.

The price for this kit is ridiculous. I built my own with two larger 12v fans with a custom bracket for about $60.

Can I use permatex never seize rather than locktite antiseize? When I apply antiseize, I apply it alllll over the motorcycle. LOL You need a service manual for sure.

Just changed both tires on my '08 Dyna. Glad I read the FSM because I did clean and coat the required parts with anti-seize when I replaced the wheels. Thanks for the reminders!

You Gooched it! Then made a video blaming someone else. The bearing is ss and the axle is ss ,what corrosion? The axle was under tension is why it didn't come out probably from the belt,or axle adjuster screws.If it was seized up and their is no witness marks indicating it was,spaying it with some blaster and waiting 20 min would of solved that.If you did need to tap it ,use the correct tool rubber mallet ,dead blow ,brass drift,brass hammer, a piece of wood ,possibly tread a nut on and hit the nut. If you ever have to beat anything for 3hrs yer doing it wrong

Pretty much have to do my own maintenance since Harley won't work on a bike over 20 years old. It's hard to find parts also. Easier to get parts for my Suzuki and Yahama and easier to work on too.

So what you're saying is Harley Davidson owners, some of them are stupid, and can't RTFM. Got it, another reason why to never buy a used HD that wasn't serviced by a HD dealership properly. I usually have brake pads installed when getting new tires installed. They are in the area anyways, so if it's going to get close, just do the pads while you're there. There's a lot of cheap bastard older HD owners.

All you need is grease and common sense. Anti seize makes a huge mess and dries out and harley manuals are over priced junk, guaranteed to leave you hanging on the real answers you need.

I had the 4.5" BAM sticks with zombie baffles on my '24 Indian Chieftain and the grunts and low end sounded great, but at higher RPMs, it sounded like someone beating a snare drum in my brain. It was just too loud. So I did what some people did on the forums and replaced the right side with the medium baffle and kept the left side as the zombie baffle. Now it's perfect. Still has the great idle and low RPM grunts but a lot quieter, deeper roar at higher RPMs... Gonna give it a couple weeks to see how it turns out

🛑🛑 I was there. I’m sorry I missed you buddy. The moments that are placed on the battlefield get you so involved with what was happening at the time of the battle, it’s almost like you can actually see the fighting taking place. Gettysburg is a VERY interesting place. I enjoy each time I ride my bike there.

Hı, Are the reader bearings on the rims of Harley Breakouts disposable? Can it be reused after disassembling?

Does the throttle body get in the way with the forward controls? Does your leg hit it or did you have to adjust how you placed your leg and foot on the peg? I’ve seen a few videos on this intake but they’ve all been on mid control baggers and I have a softail platform.
