Can you imagine trying to get away with that today? It's funny because it's completely true - most people do have a sense of humour and that includes making fun of any and every race, gender, religion, etc. It's the minority who are uptight busybodies who want to control everyone else and ruin things for us.
It's amazing how Shaun used the same cast for "Mad As Hell".

This was an awesome game series. Played all of them and they still stand up these days. P.S. where are the wing commander remasters? Upgrade ingame graphics to 4k and use AI enhanced cinematics. BOOM, new hit series right there.

This control unit looks like it's from a lift truck and is almost as embarrassing as the Enterprise E's joystick in Star Trek 9. Apart from that, the plot of this pursuit is about the dumbest thing the game has to offer. Hey, let's go after a much bigger and better armed carrier directly with our rust bucket, because unfortunately we don't have any fighters with stealth capability that we could send as an advance guard. This also allows us to act much more surprised when the other carrier wants to punch us in the mouth. All this just to include a rare stupid deus ex machina scene in which the St. Helens saves the day. Chris Roberts has never been known for his intelligence, but this is too stupid even by this fat sow's standards.
I suppose this is Wing Commanders version of the Wagner group.

I remember seeing a comment like this many years ago; another replied that there's a possibility that the gen-select serum or whatever spared him because he probably had high intelligence (just not common sense, heh).
@@bub777 the GE program was supposed to create the “perfect warrior” either through breeding or genetic tinkering. The serum bio weapon wasn’t used on potential Black Lance members. They were never exposed to the weapon, which was used on normal people. Perfect vision is a must for a “perfect” warrior. One could fantasise and claim they’re AR glasses. But that’s kinda a big stretch.

Great memories, but the Wing Commander series cannot compare in their immersiveness to the Privateer (same franchise, different story line). Only the Privateer allows you to feel the vastness of space in your bones.
