It could well be a failed washer pump that originally blew your fuse so it could be the pump that’s the problem buddy

@@TheVWMechanic_official he said there is no fix, and it is "normal for all of their vehicles". So he said because the manufacturer will not pay, I have to. I complained about how ridiculous it was that I have to pay for an issue that they confirmed to be present. After some back and forth, they never charged the fee. But the service manager boldly stated that he will be marking my file as a difficult customer. So I guess I can expect poor service any time I enter their dealer.

Very clever! I did the same on 1.2FSI 63 kW CJZB. I took from a known good cam-crank waveform and moved the intake cam little by little with homemade apparatus. Now the intake is right on the money. But this engine doesn't have VVT on the exhaust so no exhaust cam sensor. NOW I NEED IN-CYLINDER PRESSURE TRANSDUCER waveform of a known good "EA211 CJZB" engine. If i have it i will know to retard or advance the cam until the check engine is gone. But now i'm afraid to move the exhaust cam because i don't know does it need retarding ot advancing. Please.

Rns is usually done by a disc matey type your unit number into google there’s some good info there

@TheVWMechanic_official very true buddy they sorted it very fast but I was put off then as at the time the tyre had only Been fitted for a week. But all got sorted .would of liked to know what exactly had gone wrong. Spoke to a few race lads and they mention that it might of been a defect bach and it sounded like it had started to de laminate

Hey thanks for the comment and nope there is no coding required it’s plug and plug at most you would have to do is clear the fault that would be logged in 0016 steering control

@@TheVWMechanic_official Checked and the ball joints had sized up and the metal rod had just pulled out of one of the connectors. Replacement Febi sensor ordered for the total price of £50... to be fair with some effort and lubrication I could probably just push it all back together but may as well get a new one on there.

Hey thanks for the message buddy I’ve only seen this fault before when it’s been a gear selector lever fault but I always carry out wiring checks and diagnostics into the issue , thanks for the sub to it really means the world to me
