Traeth Mawr is a beach located near the village of Aberffraw on the South West coast of Anglesey, North Wales. The beach is a short walk from the village on the other side of the sand dunes which can be seen in this video. Also visible are views North towards Eglwys Cwyfan, Anglesey Circuit and Rhosneigr, as well as Newborough and the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains to the South.

Excellent footage. I have a video coming out in a couple of months which compares the coastal sand dunes in Western Australia with dunes in the UK. I was in the UK in June 2014, but I was only able due to weather, time and travel constraints to get very limited shots from Formby on Merseyside. Would you be willing to share some of the footage?

I will keep an eye out for that. I love your Traeth Y Ora video. That is my local beach. It’s a heavenly place most of the year. I’ve painted the Dulas Bay shipwreck which features in a couple of your videos. It hangs above the fire in the caravan.

I live in brynteg tried getting some shots as good as yours but I have the mini se and the signal is shocking how good is the pro 3 distance you're flying is cool
I had the first Mini and the signal on that wasn’t great either. Have you tried antena boosters on it? That was helpful to me sometimes. Thanks for the comment.
@@awyragored_openair I've tried every booster going including using the reflectors and antenna at the same time still very limited distance how good is the mini 3

Beautiful footage. I'm trying to get some similar with kayaks floating past. Which drone are you using? I'm very nervous flying mine so far from land!!
Hi Ian. Thanks for your comment. I have the DJI Mini 3 Pro, it’s brilliant. I’m also very nervous of flying it over water, my main concern is bird strikes, especially at South Stack. I would suggest making sure you know your drone inside out on land first, plan your shots before but then you just need to take care and go for it. The DJI Mini 2 is a great cheaper alternative to the 3 or the 3 Pro as well.

Thanks Emma. There is a gravel path leading from the car park which gets quite steep near the end. There are also wooden steps at the end to get up to the castle, which you can see at the beginning of the video ( 0:08 ). Hope this helps.
