Good job! Just a small bit of advice, if you want to see immediate improvement - choose a paddle that is meant for 3.0 level players, the MOD is meant for 4.0+ players. Your male partner made some really bad line calls. We have a few locals who we know make bad calls and word gets around. Word of advice, if you can't clearly see paint in between the line and the ball, then call it in. You both could clearly see 55:48 and to do it on game point is just such a yikes call. 1:09:23 as well.

Keep your third shot lower whether it is a drive or drop, so your opponent cannot attack you easily; when the ball is below your waist, at your level, try not to attack at the net (female in red), go for placement, not just the power, and respect the net. Also practice putting overhead away for both of you, either by adding power or angle. Good luck.

I just sold all of my Fuji gear except for my xt1 for canon. Needed that good autofocus without spending that Sony money 😂

I'm right there. Still thinking about it though. I shoot photo and video and now I have two separate setups. GH5ii and GH5s for video and the D610 for photo but I want some camera to do both. Been thinking about the R6 specially for the autofocus. But idk. I also like the Panasonic sh1 or s5. Or the nikon Z6... I'm so lost haha

Interesting, glad you shared your story. I am not a professional but a hobbyist who had all Nikon gear except for a Canon M50 I bought about 2 years ago just for making videos because the Nikon video in my D7500 and D500 wasn't nearly as capable. My passion is bird in flight photography and I began considering switching to Canon because of the R6 as the focusing system seemed much better than anything Nikon has. After much research and agonizing I sold all my Nikon gear except for the D7500 and one Nikon lens (to use as a backup camera system) and bought the R6. I couldn't be happier as the Canon R6 and the animal eye focusing system is great and adjusting to mirrorless hasn't been a problem.

Good luck on your new journey with Sony! I’m not a professional but I just left Sony for Nikon mirrorless.

Cute, that was a pleasant laid-back little glimpse into a chill photo trip. Like the photos, and that Fuji 35 be most fine! Whenever I take a photo of m'hound - or any dog - with a camera it's first instinct is to lunge forward and lick the lens. Do you get that? :)
