Fresh Lobsters

Processing two fresh Maine lobsters. They were delicious. No comments on 'cruelty' or 'rights' please. Even if a lobster could feel 'pain,' it's simple nervous system couldn't equate that to that of a human.

This guitar definitely took a lot of its design from the killer prime guitar
IT'S BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
And why the f##k was it rosewood? Honestly and I rarely swear.
2020 and we still dont have new necrophagist album...he might just say-"im fukin quit from music",but he didnt
I can't believe that I just have recently purchase my first Ibanez and is a xiphos xpt700 red chameleon 2009. My love for Necrophagist push me to it. My greatest dream is they reunited once more. I never see them live, so I only can dream about it. Shit :'(
what s the intro song??
Seven by Necrophagist
" I didn't really wanna do something that looked exactly like everything else".. *cough* Jackson Warrior *Cough*
the xiphos is far better looking
"lets see what happens down the road"... *10 years later*
...
Low IQ monsters.
My girl just got me the new xpt700xh model with matte black finish cannot wait til it arrives!!
Beelzeboob that edge is real birch eh?
@@stoOberp mine is fine. It depends upon the year.
This guy reminds me of vitaly... Brothers maybe?
3:35 Jackie Chan?
yeah it seems every year after the XP300's came out, they've taken one more model out of their line. the XP300's were only out for like one year and they weren't bad guitars. if i ever make it big i'm getting a signature Xiphos... just like the first one except a better tremolo and a Prestige neck. bringing that shit back!
they're taking the xiphos body off their line?? there's no way! but yeah the iceman is a great looking guitar too
i think it's the best body shape they've ever made... makes me cry inside to know that they're taking it off their line. at least Iceman's making a comeback. i'd be alright with having an Iceman 7-string.
Xiphos and Iceman are BACK - in 7 string versions. Iron Label, too.
oh lol I wasn't thinking of martial. but I can agree with the shape being martial. its definitely an awesome body shape
i wish this thing would stay in their line... can't believe they're phasing it out. oh well, i bet it'll make a comeback in a few years. what i REALLY wish is that Ibanez would have stuck their neck out and kept the VBT700 (you can see it in the background when one of the guys is talking)... Dean's lawsuit was bullshit and that was proven. they could have kept the guitar.
he actually says martial, as in "for war", not Marshall haha. he was just talking about the look of them... tbh idk why he thinks that... i think RG's are just the right amount of metal.
what the hell did that guy mean when he said "Ibanez made some nice models, but they weren't really marshall, metal guitars"? Ibanez is primarily known for metal guitars! the rg series has a history with metal players
i payed a used one for 150 euros. is fantastic...
if St. Anger had solos (i think i know some places they could have fit well), it would have made it 10 times more memorable. if you ask me, AHIG is like St. Anger w/ solos. and about the solos, i think they're really good in this album (i didn't like the ones in Vol. 3 though). they have a lot of "feel" to them. it makes me think a lot of the later solos of Dimebag Darrell.
well i should say first that I don't mean like Malmsteen kind of amazing guitar work. what i should say is amazing composure. little elements and nuances in that album, especially the dual guitar work and harmonies that the ear can easily overlook, but when they're gone, you'll know they're missing. for this reason i also like St. Anger (i know i'm a definite oddball). Hetfield/Hammett have the same kind of smart ideas peppered in there. you don't appreciate it until you WATCH them do it.
which tracks have amazing guitar work on them?
XIPHOS ( ΞΙΦΟΣ pr. KSEFOS ) means SWORD in Greek. This definately looks like a lethal weapon out of some comic book, but I can't see anything sword-like in its design.
yeah and listen to Slipknot's All Hope Is Gone album... i think that has some amazing guitar work in there. i'm more of a Jim Root than a Mick Thompson guy but still, both compliment each other well. Mick is DEFINITELY not a shitty player.
Could not agree more. It just looks so much more defined and sleek :D
I remember first watching this years ago when the xiphos and that cool vbt model came out and reading the shit out of the 2006/7 ibanez catalogues. I wanted one so bad then after a few years I finally got one last year. Fucking amazing. The only thing I would change is maybe the pickups just of personal preference.
i got one n.n i have it since december 2010 :D fucking love it i could marry it
Just found this guitar for $400 in my guitars shop...it sounds epic sense I know how dimarzio Dactivator pickup is high output like actives...I want this now
warrior looks shitty compared to a xiphos? bull goddamn shit. i love ibanez, but hell dude saying a warrior looks like shit compared to anything is just stupid.
@coolguy57000 i was replying to a guy who said he'd disown his kid for listening to slipknot, haha not about someone writing music.
@gmoney101392 i have to disagree, respectfully, cause i feel like when people write their own music, my self included, it reflects how they are feeling at the time, so i feel the music one generally plays says a lot about ones character.
and make sure you keep all the hardware clean because the sweat and oils from your hand will corrode the raw unprotected metal finish the use for the tuners, pickup frames, knobs and bridge. looks cool when ya get it but a couple months down the road it looks like shit.
Does sound great my only complaints with my xiphos were the dimarzio pickups and the strap buttons. Emg's sound 100 times better in the xiphos and the strap button locations are pure shit. Idk who the hell decieded to put them their. It would be the perfect postion if it was a leaf blower, but for guitar i like my guitar to rest neck high not neck on the ground.
@THRASHEDTODETH why? its just a music it says nothing of his character...
just picked up a Xiphos XP300, thing shreds, jumbo fres are awespne, solid neck and thickness. well worth the 500$ for it, was 850$ originally, came with a free case SCORE!
the Ibanez Xiphos looks like a JAckson Warrior, whihc looks like a BC Rich Stealth. Circle of Life.
@runningwithdeath To each their own, of course I'm being a biased prick and love picking on other people. But the xiphos looks so much meaner and brutal compared to the warrior... I think the warrior looks pretty lackluster imo.
if your name isn't Muhammed Suicmez you probably suck ass at metal guitar
@TheMetalHeaD256 arh seen it, it looks a bit fat, and i guess your right, but i still think that both look unique

@999N0t3str34k take your tremolo off the guitar, and look at the knife edges on it. are they sharp or are they really dull? the Edge III will work, but its fault is that the knife edges dull, really easily. if they are dull, it's possible to take it into a luthier and he can sharpen the knife edges. or if he says they're unrepairable, then you can get a new trem for cheap on ebay. once you get the knife edges sharp, put some chapstick on a q-tip and coat the edge with chapstick and re-install.
@TheXenoSphere actually Ibanez had something before the Stealth in the 80s. look up the Ibanez Axstar. i believe it came just before the stealth.
I have one of these and they are a hoot to play with I do some solo performances for church parties and use the different sounds to play over backing tracks. It brings a whole new idea to what you are doing just to play the blues with a saxophone rather than a guitar, and mix them together. You can get all sorts of weird stuff too. Big Ron
@DescentFromHeaven Yeah they are pretty good. I understand how many people prefer EMGs because I did as well. It's pretty close but the added convenience of not having batteries puts the DiMarzios a little higher for me. They are powerful and they have a more beautiful smooth sound than the chunky EMG's. I have the perfect swedish melodic death metal sound on my Destroyer. Works great for the smoothness of black metal as well.
Inspired by the BC Rich Stealth
@QuantumGloom so the stock pups r good? :D
to much talking about the unique shape but Chuck Schuldiner had a guitar with that shape and HE was DEATH Metal!!!!
Ibanez should make a Muhammed Suicmez signature Xiphos, and kick that shitty slipknot guitarist out. Suicmez deserves a signature model, come on...
@breaththeair I recognised that too, but I feel the Ibanez shape is more balanced somehow. Not sure why though.
