If you are using the engraver app on your phone, I suggest you don't use the presets. Instead, use the setting I used in the video.

The software's name is "Laser". It is included on the package. The file is in the USB they provided.

They call it colored paper.

Hi. Yes po sir. Just make sure na lagyan nyo nung colored paper or black marker. Ang purpose po is para di tumagos yung laser sa acrylic.

@@montserratgarciavieyra2650 Yo uso 100 de potencia y 80 de velocidad. Pero puedes reducir la velocidad si quieres un grabado mucho más profundo.

I haven't tried it yet but some people use sandpaper to get rid of the colored paper residue making the engraving white.

@@satriaane2113 Yes. Some people use 100 grit but they only sand the engraved part to avoid scratches on the whole design. And some people uses wire brush to remove the black color left by the colored paper.

Do you mean "back"? I just click stop. But in case you mean like engrave 2 times in same spot, there is an option that lets you decided how many passes the engraver would do.

I haven't tried acrylic sheets but I think it is possible. If I were to do acrylic, I would just treat it like a glass because if it can leave a mark on a glass, I think it would easily engrave an acrylic sheet. Just make sure you use colored paper. The darker, the better.

It leaves a permanent mark so I say that the dishwasher won't have any effect on the engraving.

It is included on the package when you buy the Daja Laser.

Depending on the size of the design. The one on the video took 15 minutes more or less.

I think it took me more or less 30 minutes. I forgot but I am sure for that size, it would take at least 20 minutes.

Yes. 1. The laser focus may not be properly configured. Adjust it to the smallest point while the material is underneath. Use the black paper for more accurate adjustment. 2. The "power" and "speed" setting is not good. I recommend 100% power and 50 to 80% speed.

Yes Sir! I manage to fix the issue by making the design smaller and adjusting the laser focus halfway from farthest to the nearest distance.

Hi Sir! Did they use the exact machine? Because Daja DJ6 need a black film to block the light so it can engrave. Some engravers does not need a black film to engrave, like fiber laser.

My unit did not come with free safety glass so I don't really look directly at the laser. But when I have to check the engraving, I always use the green panel that has the same material as the safety glass. I don't know its name 😅

I guess you got the wrong idea, sir. As you can see in the video, I did not have any problems with the first engraving. The color paper is not the problem; it is the scale of the design plus the curved surface. Yeah, I know I should know better not to make the design bigger. I haven't tried CerMark spray because it's not available in my country. I hope I can try it someday.

Its the scratching with a Stanley knife. Surely its not good at all for a glass. But I do understand we can only use what we have to hand. And well if it works for you that's fine. :) it's just not for everyone :))

And I want to add po before you buy, di po kaya ni DAJA DJ6 mag engrave sa bare metal, only on painted metal lang Sir. But still napakaganda niya pa rin na engraver. 😊

Ginupit ko lang yan Sir gamit gunting. Pero ang gamit ko na ngayon is Cuyi Mini Cutter plotter. Mga 3 years ko na din ata na gamit. So far okay pa din naman.

Hi. Good day Sir. Carving power po is 100% and Carving speed naman is 90%. Yung engraving niya is 1mm ang lalim pero depende pa din sa wood na gamit mo po.

@@julianalvarez6660 Di po specified sa shopee shop if anong klase yung wood pero parang maple siya. Ano po settings na ginamit nyo? If masyado pong mabilis, di po talaga maeengrave kasi kulang ang time para uminit sa same exact spot yung laser. Try nyo po babaan ang speed sa 60%. Dun nyo po itry sa damaged para di masayang yung iba.
