Bradley Thomas Burden Train Tales (My new channel)
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 27 ส.ค. 2021
Hello there ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Welcome to the official TH-cam channel of Bradley Thomas Burden! Home to Brad The Green Tender Engine, Clarkson The LNER A3, May The LNER B12 & Hammond The GWR 57xx. Back in late August of 2021, my old channel was disabled because TH-cam these days are, basically communist. So I've had to restart from scratch. Still, could be worse.
I have a narrow airway, so you might hear me gasp every once in a while in my commentary videos. I'm also autistic as an FYI.
Inappropriate behavior towards myself and others will NOT be tolerated. I will block any such person from doing so and you will not be permitted to return. In extreme cases, you WILL be re reported. Anyone who as steal my content will also be blocked, and the stolen videos will be reported if you refuse to take it down when I ask you to do so.
But with that out of the way, please like, comment & subscribe for more content!

Riding LNER Peppercorn A1 No. 60163 Tornado On The Nene Valley Railway | 10.26.2024.
"This engine is named Tornado and my god bless all who are lucky enough to locomote behind her." - the former Prince Of Wales, Charles during Tornado's naming ceremony at York in February 2009.
Took me forever to upload this in 4K format... 🤦🏽♂️
As I said in the teasing community post I recently paid a trip to Britain with my father and the main purpose was to ride behind new build Peppercorn A1 No. 60163 Tornado of the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust.
If you feel able to support to the A1 Trust and their other projects such as P2 Prince Of Wales you can do so here: www.a1steam.com/
The timing for the visit was absolutely perfect! No sooner had we walked up onto the platform having drove here, Tornado was pulling in with one of the previous trains.
When we tried to leave the gates were shut, giving me the incentive to get one last shot of Tornado before leaving.
Tornado's based on the former LNER A1s to the design of Arthur Henry Peppercorn (the last cheif mechanical engineer of the London North Eastern Railway) which were derived from the previous A2s which were in turn were development of the Thompson A2/3s.
49 original engines built at the former London North Eastern Railway's Darlington & Doncaster Works between 1948-49 for use on express services on the East Coast Mainline between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh Waverly in Scotland.
When the Class 55 Deltics came into the picture as a result of the Modernization Plan under Anthony Eden's conservative government they'd all be withdrawn between October 1962 & June 1966.
Despite engine No. 60145 Saint Mungo planning to be preserved by Geoff Drury this wouldn't be successful and all locomotives would be scrapped by the summer of 1966.
Tornado was first concepted in the 1990s and construction took place between 1994 & 2008 making her Britain's first mainline steam engine since 9f 92220 Evening Star back in 1960 and as a result many other new build steam locomotive projects have sprung up not just in Britain but the wider world.
Since its first steaming in 2008 Tornado's become very popular with the public (me included) and has gone as far to to be featured on Top Gear's Race To The North and also going 100 miles an hour in April 2017 to test if it was capable of running at 90 miles an hour (this would sort of be for naught as the engine's inside motion failed during its first 90 mph run whilst pulling the Ebor Flyer from Kings Cross to York almost exactly a year later).
Now after 16 years and a major overhaul that included fitment of the new European Train Control System or ETCS (and unfortunate delayed return to the mainline due to a warped firebox grate), I've finally gotten my chance to ride behind this incredible piece of engineering as of October 26th 2024.
Having finished Tornado, the A1 Trust are now focusing on building their second locomotive P2 No. 2007 Prince Of Wales in reference to who's now King Charles III. After that they plan to build a Gresley V4 (Sir Nigel Gresley's final locomotive design), a possible V1/V3 tank engine and a then K3 Mogul.
Enjoy!

The Story of Murdoch The Mighty Engine | A Friendly Giant

Hello everyone! :D With the success of Pip & Emma's video I just had to make another one. The steam powered version of the Class 58, 60 & 66 diesels combined Murdoch The Mighty Engine is a large heavy goods engine that's now lasted longer in service on Sodor then he did on the Mainland. For his size though he's a rather quiet chap but when he does talk its mostly venting over the ruining of his...

Hello everyone! :D This has been reuploaded to fix some forgotten credit. I tried to render this in 4K, but unfortunately, the intro shot keeps getting rendered wrong, so this is now in the more conventional 1080p. As the last of the iconic Intercity 125/High Speed Trains have been withdrawn from long distance services on the Cross Country Network and many have been replaced by the controversia...

Probably the best adaptation of this story out there. Only one criticism. When you have an incredibly tense and chilling scene. Do NOT use voice clips of Jeremy Clarkson calling Richard Hammond a "blithering idiot". Not only does it ruin the tension of the scene, but the actual narration is drowned out by the funny british car guy you see on the television. I get that the intro is inspired by top gear and uses the theme song, but... time and place man. Great video otherwise.
@minifigamer9898 Bit of a habit there. Just joking around tis all.
13:15 Great reference to the wandering coach.
I loved the story and I loved the wandering coach appearance
Who do you think your next history video be about?
@aidanproductions3691 There’s a reason I unfortunately don't answer questions like this because I mostly don't know.
Sandy is a scrap?
@@vovalikuha5291 This is set before she came to Sodor
@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 oh, ok
12:50 there is a autobots logo on the engine
Brad, I do have to say that it's quite a shame that Britt Allcroft passed away recently. But she was quite a grand person. And may her legacy live on.
You probably get asked this all the time, but where did you get the greyface models for Pip and Emma? I really dig them.
@@willy_b_coyote Tidmouth Yard 3d
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 Thnx!
Could you send me the 98462 model? I've been wanting for quite some time.
Its on Marvelous Mainland Works
I've actually decided to have a go at making my own Trainz models in Blender. I've started off with a British Rail Class 17 (Derek's basis) as my first model. It's coming along great so far.
How Do I Drive Thomas?, I Tryed The REAL Site And It Does Not Work Can Someone Help Me?
9:14 tinky winky ahh scream
8:35 Gordon: *(Enraged in thought)* I “will” get you, you little pissy-headed, old ironed fuck-pot. And I will have my revenge.
Brad, I need some help. I can't seem to fix the couplings on Sodor Workshops' TRS2019 Toby model. the couplings literally aren't there. I can't stand seeing it that way. Do you have any ideas on how to solve this (if at all)?
@@oltonium6861 Are they not included in the kuid list or something?
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 They're in there, but I just can't get them to work. I can't get them downloaded. Also, when i go to drive Toby, the face just doesn't show up. I can only see the faces in surveyor mode. the same thing happens with Bertie's faces.
@ If you had discord we could probably have a talk about this and I could get a better understanding of your problems
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 Unfortunately, I do not have a discord. At this point, I don't know what to do.
Grand story, mate!

Looks interesting
That was awesome. I love it.
Essential video
coincidentally, that day was also my birthday
That’s really cool you got the chance to see Tornado in person, and having a ride behind the 2009 built A1 must’ve been a great experience and best part during your visit to the Nene Valley Railway. 🙂
