Hey mate, love the build - I have the same bike and have just bought the extended Acerbis tank but mine does not line up with the side guards as well as your does, mine has a gap in between. Do you know why?

That's the stupidest thing I've seen in my 50 years as a biker... riding a 600 with sandals, the compression returns and your foot shatters into a thousand pieces (don't try it at home).

Hi, I have a ktm 450 smr with added lights and other extras to make it street legal. But the battery only charges to around 12.8v when engine running. Do you knows why please can't figure out the problem.?

Excellent build! The only thing I might suggest is that the tail bag, while iconic, is useless. I can't tell you how many tools I've scattered throughout the desert because the tail bag zipper let loose and all my riding tools jumped ship. I've learned to carry riding tools in another manner (camelbacks work) and use that beautiful, iconic tail bag to carry a big fat car wash sponge. The sponge is light weight, puffs the bag up (for appearances), and is cheap to replace.

Did you ever get a grounding issue? I just installed the squadron sport on my 07 and when I turn my bars left it grounds out on the steering stop… but it clears on the right side no issues… hope you can help me out thanks
