    Why can't the movement of the earth be seen?

    • @NMRocketry
      @NMRocketry 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can think of the balloon as being a fish immersed in water, where the balloon is a fish and the atmosphere is the water. Just like the ocean water, the atmosphere rotates with the earth, so the movement of earth isn't really seen.

      At the moment haha. Maybe for control too, but the vehicle is mostly autonomous. The RF signal is transmitted and received on a buoy on the surface, to keep that from happening.

    There is a UFO and a Zigar shape UFO near by the Sun! You see it at the last third part of the Video, it is little bit heavy to locate, but when you twist the view direct on the sun and try to hold position, you will see it, it is "LEFT" from the sun. Check out with "STOP and PLAY" and so on ...to find a good position, the Zigar shape UFO is right from the Disc shape UFO, and it disapear fast when the ballon rotates! Very Interessting!

    To clear up any confusion, I have been thinking of undertaking a slightly different project than rockets. AUVs have become an easy and fun way to learn DNNs, different control methods, and new engineering challenges. Although this project isn't much related to my field of rocketry I hope this tangent will allow for some cool new things to learn and experience.

    Your math doesn't appear to match what you are doing in the video. If you subtract the calibration value from y to make z, then add it back in as written, you just get y again. In the video, your z value is negative, and you flip the sign before adding the calibration back in. Your steps, don't reflect that. Also, I found that if you put too large of a calibration weight on, your z result doesn't come out negative. In this case, flipping the z value to negative doesn't work, nor does keeping it positive. So your procedure requires a small enough weight to achieve a negative z value which is then added as an absolute value to your calibration value in step 4.
