Hey bro i am facing the same issue with my Mercedes e280cdi 2007 I went to a car wash to give it the clean under body wash and after driving it back to home, it was fine. After a few hours. I tried starting the car, the keys and rotating in the ignition. Then I remove the ECU and the clean, the every trace of water droplets after sometime. The car started honking by itself, then I disconnected the horn and then I disconnected battery after 12 hours. I connected the battery and the horns are not honking by itself, and I tried starting my car. It started as usually it starts and after going about 5 km. I went back to my home and then I tried starting my car whenever I put my key in ration on the last tab with the engine is about to start the radiator fans kick in with the maximum speed and the car is not turning over and then I open the fuse box, cleaned it with the board cleaner. There was a little trace of rust i cleaned it with the toothpick. And I have checked all the fuses and relays, there is not a single fuse. turned bad, but whenever I turn the key to own position, the fan starts at maximum speed, and I haven’t applied your method to start the car, but I think you have very vast knowledge about my problem and i hope you will help me in this issue

Hey bud nice vid. Well done. Only issue is that there is a small stainless steel bearing ball that goes under the plate you are putting on at 3:37. The ball is to to do with the tank cap venting and sealing.

I'm having a very similar issue - this video was quick & to the point - unlike other video's that assume you have a multiude of meters & garage space & computersied code checking shite!!

I did the jumper as you described. Fan running wild but no start no crank still. I think my ECU is fine, maybe the starter decided to give up.

what are those bolts that you used to put the carbs back together with mine are old and brittle and easy to strip

So overly-complicated even M-B can't figure them out. What good is a fancy car if you canNOT get it to start up? Stay AWAY! Stay VERY FAR AWAY!

You can clip to that nut in back of the fuse box. It's a positive cable.You don't need to shave a wire. Lol. Negative to the ground you clipped too and to that nut in the back

hi, was your problem with the valve cover gasket? I have a similar problem, it probably didn't work when warm, but I've been noticing for some time that it's fine when cold after starting, but as soon as I let the car idle for about 5-15 minutes and add gas, blue white smoke comes out like in the video. after starting about 2 thousand revolutions behind me there is about 3Km of blue billowing smoke, as soon as it burns out from the exhaust it is mostly quiet. it looks like it's leaking from the big turbo from the exhaust part to the sled, a minimum amount of oil goes into the exhaust, but larger amounts must go into the exhaust at the moment described. the big turbo doesn't work, I changed the small one. you can hear the turbo and still don't see the whistle, even if it's a small one after the change, I changed the small turbo through the whistle, I thought the problem was here. I replaced the oil separator, but not with the original one, but instead and without change, I sealed the intake, and without change, could it be the valve cover? and if so, how is it possible? thank you very much for the reply

it jump becvause is warm....change glow plugs..is a glow plug fail...they are dead....glow plugs...no ecu problem...just glow plug.....without glow plugs feed back to ecu s 320 cdi wont start...no esp no srs..no ecu....

Jeez, is that what a CDI W211 sounds like. Never owned a diesel, never will. The smooth sound of the E320 W211 V6 is music to my ears. Good video though & I would have left the first jumper in place.............................just saying!

Hello. I cant start engine. he shows Reduced braking power.Start engine and battery warning. I tried to connect new battery . Still cant start engine.

Mine does this a bit when its not up to temp, but i haven't found a CCV that i can buy to replace my current one and it looks like my current one doesn't have the filter like the old version. So I'm guessing i have the new version 🤷🏻‍♂️ Hope its not my turbo.

ESP and AB’s light on Mercedes S550 2008 cannot get it back into Park gear what do you suggest?

Also, try and disconnect the ecu plug that that wire is connected to and then plug it back in. These Mercedes model year are junk. We had a 05 S600 v12 bi turbo and randomly the trans would shift into neutral and strand you. But if you went to the trans ecu, disconnected all of the connectors and plug them back in, it would work just fine. German's are too smart for their own good.

Great video/information. I have a crank/no start situation. New crankshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor. Both batteries are new. (W211) 03 E500. Any ideas? No dtcs on the engine control module, transmission or anything like that.
