I agree with you. Chilly for that kind of money. I want to see it in action what it's going to bring me for all them dollars. Besides that, it's a gimmick to me. I love red so don't get me wrong but cash grab

@@bluecrabnitroracing4499 For sure Blue Crab. Im sure it does what they say. But it also seems like extra moving parts to go bad and another area that if not maintained very good can develop air leaks.🤷🏾‍♂️

They don't have to because they know it works. You either have the money or you don't, it doesn't matter to them. They build the most precise engines out there. When I say it's gonna do something it's going to do something. They are an ethical company. Not a big corporation looking to screw people. You should be asking questions like that to horizon hobby. There's a ones that are out to screw people, not Reds Racing mom and pop shop.

@@FarmerFpv i get what your saying, but riddle me this. Since my backplate is the airboost which i can see and feel the performance difference and i havent had any issues with rubbing the backplate with the crank pin and/or rod what will i gain by losing that performance? ie with this backplate yes if my crank pin happens to hit the backplate it will spin allowing the crank to not lose so much energy thats cool. Im just saying its not about the money as it is more about will i get a performance gain from what i already have on 2 of their top of the line engines. Oh and yeah i dont own any horizon owned products outside of glow igniters and top of the line O.S. speed engines🤦🏿

The full throttle method of break in is the fastest, most effective way to break in an engine. You set the engine so rich that the rpm’s at full throttle are basically the same as a high idle. This gets the most amount of fuel and oil flowing through the engine possible and creates a very nice polish on the sleeve that makes a good seal. The most important thing to note about this method is that the engine cools off very very fast running that rich so you need to keep a heat gun on it pretty much the whole tank of fuel to keep it at least above 200°F. The ideal temp for break in is 210°F-240°F. Preheat the engine to around 250°F and it’ll drop down once the engine is running. Hope this helps 😃

No else does this very unconventional break in. I wouldn't trust it.

Every nitro engine I've had I've run one tank at idle then all following tanks all out there after not one issue at all .

I doubt it does but this is a fairly quick and easy way to break in an engine. Keep the engine up above 210-215° and really rich and it’ll break in just fine as shown in the video. Each person has their own break in method though. I do a similar thing accept I idle the engine for 4-5 tanks and then when I put it on the ground I limit how fast the car goes by how rich the high speed needle is for the next 4 tanks

This! Absolutely this.... I recently returned to the hobby after a long hiatus (I'm pretty sure Mario was still with the family business before I dropped out 😅). Novarossi was all I used. With the fate of the company still unknown and only speculated, I would totally try a Mario Rossi developed .12 for my Nitro tourer.

Yes!!! I’m definitely one of those who would buy a reds .28. I’ve got the green 721 sv and the 723 and can’t say enough great things about them. I also use the 2143 pipe and tetra clutch. Tetra clutch is one of the nicest clutches I’ve ever used and I’ve used them all!!

It's not an airplane radio... It's a stick radio for cars/ground. Prob 3, maybe 4 channels. Airplane radios are like 8 channels. Videogame controllers are also like that so it's not weird that some people prefer that type of transmitter.
