I loved last year’s palette and I have this one, too. I really, really like this matte formula. It’s so blend-able and lovely. I’ve always loved the CT shimmers. I think you were able to make this palette work for you in spite of not having many (any?) light shades.

I have the palette and was putting on my makeup as I was watching/listening to your review. I found the same thing as you did overall, especially about the highlighter being very gold and dense. I'll still use it sometimes as a highlighter for an evening look if I'll be in a dimly lit area. You make a good point that it really can be used more often as an eyeshadow. It is my second Hourglass product. I had recently purchased a mini bronzer in the shade Difused Bronze Light and loved the blendability and sheerness of the powder I was convinced to get the palette. I might have waited a bit more but as they are a limited run, and I liked t hat they had two finishing powders and two blushes, I was sold. I also always like a new bronzer shade. You also said what I had been thinking regarding the redness of their bronzers. I hadn't realized others had noted that as well and really thought my skin just might be reddening as I put it on with the brush motion and the reddness was showing through because of their translucent quality but your mentioning their reddish tinge was really useful! I enjoyed this video and in general enjoy your take on makeup from the videos I've seen.

What shade are you using with the Misha bb cream?

That's pretty much what I do lol! No powder needed for me now ( it's not cold yet here in Italy but I have pretty dry skin so it really is unnecessary at the moment), no lip liner but I might do a bit of brown eye pencil and bronzer/blush in the crease. Too bad I am not as fast🤣 especially before coffee 😂

I prefer the blush placed in the centre of the face best, looks lovely on you.

I live in a somewhat isolated spot for cosmetics and have to do a lot of online/mail order. Your coloring is similar enough to my own that I have purchased a few lipsticks that you have suggested (Charlotte Tilbury’s “Stoned Rose” Kissing formula, specifically). It is vey helpful to me when folks do bother to list the products they are using, even if they are not mentioned specifically in the video. I do realize that it represents more work for you, however, and understand if you are not able to do so. Anyway, much appreciated and thanks again!

I like the youthful looks best! I do that on me because my face is also quite thin and doesn't need any sculpting, if anything I want it to look fuller. I also go across the nose that gives a sun kissed look! Just bought one of the new Butter melt blush from Nyx, really nice - similar pink cool shade to the one you're using
