Although I understand how Usopp felt, he was being stupid. Luffy and Nami tried so hard to convince the shipwrights to repair the ship, which they can't. Then Usopp be guilt tripping him and saying stuff that is not true and attacked his captain because he refused to accept the reality of the defective ship.
