I ordered the T56, but _before_ watching this video. I just needed confirmation. 🙂 AliExpress is weird, though. I ordered one, then realised that there was an old address there, and they don't let you change the address completely after ordering. So I had to cancel it, and buy it again, and it was like €20 cheaper. Not that I'm complaining, but it goes to show that dynamic pricing is silly.
Well done buddy these headrush pedalboards are awesome but come with there flaws i just recently repaired mine and brought a whole new motherboard which you worked on and replaced the chip it works again now but the usb is faulty it worked and updated first time round but simce the latest update was released its not recognising the usb and malfunctioning any ideas what it could be many thanks and once again great job people like you are important and give us people with little money hope of repairing with your knowledge
I really don't know. As far as I remember the usb communication comes directly from the mains processor I replaced in this video. You can trace the wires to check that again. The datasheet of the cpu shows that it has 2-3 usb ports there. Check the data pins with a multimeter and oscilloscope for activity and short to ground or vcc. If there is an usb protection device next to the usb port, check it.
@NaudioElectronics thank you for your reply mate I will see how I get on really appreciate it 🙏
And since you didn't break the sticker, your warranty is still good! :)

Thank you for this video! I just replaced the encoder knob but after screwing everything back, I quickly learned about the Rainbow of Death 😢 I’m going to try getting a different power adapter with a little more amps before trying to replace with new chip.
Hey there, did you ever figure out how to wire up the HT-420 JBC tweezers without the stand?
@@johnbaker26 yes.
Can you share how you did it on your eevblog post? I'm trying to do the same thing. Much appreciated
Thanks! I used one of the hooks from a Harbor Freight mini pick and hook set.
my 175 true rms problem that its on but take a long time to on.how can I solve that problem.
Can u share the AliExpress link please

Excellent work Sir!!! Now I'm interested in where the iMusic programming resides just in case the programming gets lost. For example, if if I were to replace the whole Radxa module/board, would the unit still come back and function?
Thanks. If you check the board there are flash chips, so there sits the Linux/android or whatever the software is. Changing the whole board won't fix that issue, unfortunately.
Hello friend, how are you? So does this card support Wi-Fi? Am I mistaken?
Bro can u provide me the circuit diagram of 17B+
Hola, tengo una Gigboard y la mande a servicio tecnico y no la pudieron hacer funcionar. El equipo prende. Luego queda en modo Loading y se queda ahi... no sale del modo Loading... Alguna sugerencia...?
Subscribed.
I'm sorry it was impossible to repair. Good luck next time!
What do you mean? I repaired it. It works! I left it for a few hours to check its functionality for some time, and it is fine.
@NaudioElectronics Nah, you didn't, as you clearly stated in your clickbait thumbnail that it was "impossible to repair"! Nobody can do it if it's impossible.
@@GoodWill-s8jAre you so stupid that you can't comprehend the impossibility aspect came from the actual headrush technicians saying to people this error was unrepairable
Great video, Niki! As an engineer myself I loved to see your thought process when you were debugging the problem. Also I was amazed that this chip is sold in Ali Express 😁 And the anticipation at the end, will it start or not 😁 I was also jumping here. Great content! Cheers!
looking to purchase a beefier programmer, I may bite on this one. Thank you for demonstration!
Where can I find the schematics for this?
The green coating where it says +AAA- has corroded away, and the copper is exposed. Is that ok? Mine was severely corroded.
Very nice and clean work done by you. Great work....
Muchas gracias, es el mejor video, es la mejor explicación, gracias me sirvió mucho. felicidades y saludos desde México CDMX.
Used the loop of a small paper clip. Thanks for the how to.
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks bro
Hi there ! Would you be kind enough to tell me the Chip number details and is it compatible with fluke 17B+ ? BTW nice video. 👍
Thanks Check the other comments
@@NaudioElectronics Thanks! just one last thing, is this chip compatible with fluke 17B+ ?
@@sujitsingh7446 I don't know...
You say it is not indicated... but you yourself show in the video, when you show the bottom label the polarity of the power supply (at minute 3:14)! 😉
Perfect, exactly the info I needed!! I figured there should be a release? I used a old credit card as the tool. Cut to fit and had to use small pliers to apply enough force. I tried several sizes of zip ties cut to fit but they were all a little too soft to work as well as the expired credit card material. Thanks for sharing your experience!!
👍👍👍👍👍
That was totally a nice idea to leverage the cable’s capacitance per unit length. Didn’t help me salvage the long cable (my open was in the middle) but a great trick to keep in the toolbox, thanks.
This programmer does not work with PIC16C65B. VPP Overcurrent protection kicks in for some unknown reason. Posted on the Xgecu forums - over 400 views - no answers! Works just fine with cheapo PIC K150 programmer. Also, in-circuit does not work with some chips. Winbond 25Q128 for example - works just fine with SOFI SP-8 programmer. Not convinced of the quality of the T56.
You buy t56 for programming emmc for tv repairing, not pic's or cheap memories like 25q128 which can be programmed with cheaper tools.
MC68HC908JL8 ok? or not ok?
It's not in the list of supported chips. If the chip has an alternate designation, it may be listed under that, or it may be that the chip you want is cross-compatible with one which is in the list.
Can't believe this actually worked. Good job man =) If I were to do this repair I would for sure rip one of the copper traces on that chip.
Good morning Sir, Here I am Goutam Mukherjee from Kharagpur IIT, can You please send me the schematic circuit for Fluke 177 dmm, with the tips for power on problem, I am waiting for Your response, thanks again
Well, you have to check the power supply across the chips, trace the power on circuit etc. I have to see it to tell you what's wrong Here is the Fluke 87V schematics. I believe it is similar to 177 xdevs.com/doc/Fluke/87V/Fluke_87V_Full_service_manual_with_schematic_and_electrical_parts_list_Service_Manual-87VANFullService.pdf

I have bk precision 390a multimeter. when on it continuously starts to beep. fuses are ok, buzzer has 0.6 volts all time any ideas?
Good work on that one! I have fluke 233 with defective main chip. Cristal works, supply is good but the chip is not running program. May I know where did you ordered a new chip. As I understanding it should be preprogrammed by fluke. Thanks!
I ordered it from aliexpress

Hi Nik I’m wondering if the additional cable that you m connected to the ground was as well connected to the ground on the other connector ? I know that, in guitar circuit they create ghost ground to reduce hum I.e in an LP if you want to reduce noise from the selector to the main circuit, you can have an additional cable that is ground to the selector and twisted around the main core but not connected to the ground at the main circuit.
Yes, the additional ground wire is connected on both sides. I really can't understand why it exists...
thanks 👍🏼
Thank you
I have made a phase tester that has two LEDS-one green the other red. Like yours the battery/ circuit is turned on when a mono 1/4 inch male plug is inserted. A small metal screwdriver is tapped on each pickup . A positive spike makes the green LED come on although the re LED sometimes comes on. When reversed and the pickup is tapped by the screwdriver the red LED comes on for a much longer time than the green does.
