CONVERTING to Islam?
In all my recent traveling I've learned more and more about the religion and culture surrounding Islam. I've had a number of people talk to me about converting, but I had one man try to get me to say a phrase, and trick me into converting to Islam.

    Planting trees of same veriaties especially desiduous trees can bring more risk as in BC alot of where fires happen are logged and replanted areas because ground cover is not there to protect soil from sunlight. So when developing trees struggle due to loss of ecology in soil. They burn much easier. More importantly then this, is to have agriculture peoples and the lands grow trees perhaps ones for Yields like fruits and nuts etc to further the economic benefit. But more then that it will free the farmers. With deep roots the trees nurish surrounding crops, and landscapes. leaf fall will fertilize but more importanly support ecology(ie worms insects, etc) Will be benifitted bringing nurishment to the land) It will also hold reserses of water with an organic content in the soil of 8-12% the amount of water it can hold will double. The land will have more rainfall farmers wont have to irrigate as much plus the land wont be harmed from mall practices(ie tilling, plowing. The worms and life in the soil will airate itself creating the conditions optimal for nurished plant development. This is how we can save nutrition of humans and degradation of the land. The big issue now is implementing it on the ground and on other nations.

    Hi G Frog: this will be my first season trying this exciting job. Any tips on work boot to use that won’t fall apart?

    • @G-Frog
      @G-Frog 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Everybody has their own type of boots they swear by. Some people will tell you good hiking boots like Scarpas that will last multiple seasons. Others will say logging caulk boots. What i have used and loved for the last 4 or more seasons has been regular rubber boots. I buy about 2 or 3 decent pairs from Canadian Tire, Marks Work Warehouse, wherever, and get them 1 size bigger. Then I wear regular socks and bama socks so it is a snug fit in the boot, and the boot isn't loose at all. I prefer doing this because on rain days, through puddles, mud, wet terrain, my feet always stay warm and dry. They do fall apart, but that's why I bring 2 or 3 pairs, and generally I'm spending less than $100-$200 to have dry feet for the whole planting season, and you'll make that money back comfortably in no time. As its your first season, maybe try a pair of hiking boots, and a pair of rubber boots, especially because they can be cheap to pick up. See what you like best, because everyone is different. I hope your feet stay dry, and you have an AMAZING first season out in the bush! Depending on the company, being a rookie can be rough, but remember even on the hardest days you got this, you choose to be there, and to ignore any stupid people that poke fun at you for being a rookie. We all started out learning how to plant a tree properly, and we all grew from there. Stay safe, stay warm, and happy planting!

    Almost for sure he was member of the Noah Hoover Mennonites (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah_Hoover_Mennonite) and the real reason he was banned was not the fact what technology he used but his refusal to stop it, when asked to do so. When a person joins such a community through adult baptism this person makes a commitment to obey the rules. Therefore breaking the rules and not to repent when asked to do so results in the ban. By the way, I studied traditional Anabaptist communities for decades, reading all the literature and living with several such communities for a longer time.

    • @cooperolm9687

      1-3 species being planted in a given block, usually. It's unfortunate that they're monocultures, but worth noting that this isn't for habitat restoration, this is a crop. It will be cut again in 40 or so years, rinse and repeat. Obviously not ideal, but better plantations than cutting old growth.

    Is cone picking as lucrative as treeplanting?

    • @G-Frog
      @G-Frog ปีที่แล้ว

      No, it's a lot harder to make tree planting money, pay was based per bucket, and with shorter hours I think it was around $100 to $150 a day. So decent money, no where near planting, but good as a casual summer gig after planting with friends
