For anyone who runs the NCM track do you or have you had a problem being over the sound limit with your stock car. Anyone with SS CAmaro 1le or similar in stock exhaust sound getting flagged for being over noise level? I have 21 SS Camaro 1le thats completely stock and i'm wanting to try this track. Thanks

After driving NCM the last two days in a 458, this is remarkable to watch. I pulled out a 2:24 and that felt so fast…. Can’t imagine taking off another 10 seconds.

I wonder which stabilitrack mode Andy used for track, was it “all off”?

This is a really strong breakdown of the track. I did not fully appreciate what I was seeing before driving the track. But now, having seen and felt the course and created my own mental imagery of the drive, this instruction is very valuable. I am looking forward to adjusting my lines and inputs on m next outing in a few weeks. Thank you for this.

As a motorcyclist that’s been riding there for 5 years straight. I’d say yes , lap times are very important. No matter what a coach or passenger( in cars case) . Is telling you good or bad to do . The lap timer doesn’t lie .... A new segment could be why so many different track configurations ? Also each record for all of them ? Thanks again for letting hood rats like us bikers come to that amazing track 👍

Yeah, why no track overlay. That’s very helpful for orientation for those of who don’t have the track 100% memorized.

Are open wheel kit cars eligible to run in a class? For example a DF Goblin? I noticed a open wheel lotus 7 running SPO

Wait? Who said ground up glass is for grip? It's so the paint is reflective. At night or in the rain, it's a very helpful to be able to see where the track is. (I drove VIR at night right after the repaving, with zero paint anywhere. It was a nightmare.) Even without glass infused paint, poured concrete is slick when wet.

Doesn't help when you change to kph from mph and the wrong track layout on episode 3.

100% skipped an NCM event because the stigma of how strict you all are on sound and not wanting to drive several hours to be sidelined. I wish I had seen this video before the event.

I was just at the track Friday the 6th of November I bought a stock street car just for the occasion been there before this spring and had to get back before the weather gets bad I've raced around tracks all over the the east , I've always wanted to be on a road course never could afford the car to compete with others this is different this lets anybody that has an automobile to really see what it's like very inexpensive to find out what it's all about your escort driver you follow they'll tell you the rest , there's an old saying that goes run what you brung , so if you can talk granny in just using her new car are all one bring her along she'll enjoy it

I took one out at NCM, and the car is incredible.Very balanced, and makes you feel confident in the seat.

Mine is the SS 6 speed. Won't be tracking mine. Just every day street. Great car.
