After leaving Palau we head up north to explore Ulithi. Ulithi was a WWII secret naval base, and still holds tight their island traditions. We meet many new people, learn how to make coconut 'hooch', and have kids swimming of Field Trip.

We sail from the Rock Islands, Palau down to Peleliu. We learn about the important WWII history in this area and see many artifacts from the war.

Turn up the volume, and watch on your 4K television. This is a compilation of some of our favorite spots in Palau as we explored this beautiful and unique country. It was outstanding! All video shot on a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone.

We explore the Unesco World Heritage Site - Rock Islands - in Palau. We also find ourselves helping a baby long tail bird and celebrating halloween.

We leave Indonesia and sail 500 nautical miles to Palau. It takes 5 days, and we have an overall great sail downwind to our destination.

As we get ready to depart for Pulau, we find out our friends on Illimite had an engine problem that requires us to tow them to the next anchorage. This is our first time towing a vessel with Field Trip.

We go ashore with our friends for Illimite and make some new friends in the small fishing village.

We leave Lembeh Straight in Indonesia, and sail to another island on our way to Palau. Mark discusses how we use SAS Planet and other tools to safely navigate Field Trip to new anchorages.

We sail 350 nautical miles to Sulawesi with our friends on Illimite. From here we explore the Tangkoko National park in search of the Tarsier and Bearcat!

We sail to Maratua Atoll, a breathtaking location with great diving and nice people. We end up being with a number of other yachts from the rally, and do some exploring. We visit Jellyfish Lake, full of non-stinging jellyfish, and investigate damage to a yacht that ran aground on the reef.

We are greeted by the Indonesian authorities to process our clearance into the country. After we clear, Mark needs to replace the SeaRecovery water-maker membrane to improve our water quality aboard Field Trip.

With the Rally, we get the opportunity to dive Sipidan Island. Sipidan is ranked one of the top 5 dive destinations in the world. We have a great time diving, and the kids get to learn about water sampling with our friends on Illumite.

Field Trip is stuck in the Philippines during the Coronavirus lockdown. We provide an update to our friends and family about our status, and show everyone more information about our current location.

We sail to Lahad Datu, catch a nice wahoo, explore the laundrymat, make new friends and teach them how to sail.
