The entire body and mind are engaged in finding the precise combination of nuance. There is a lesson here for everyone, for us in non-musical fields of creative work as well. GREAT teacher.., I have just started to study flute- since 2 months, but am a singer and recognize, how similar the technique is with air, tongue, placement etc- side recognition- Pahud would be a bass, whe he woud be a singer, but the flute is more like an atherial soprano
So many of life's problems (including physical distress) can be alleviated or resolved by the proper positioning of our bodies in relation to the objects around us. This lesson is about proper posture when playing the flute, but it can be extended to achieve optimum alignments in daily tasks.
