Nothing worked at all. The ambient occlusion wasn't working. I'm detailing a tank and it looks like someone pured mayonaise all over it even after I added the ambient occlusion.
For those who dont know! if you want your hologram to be horizontal but it shows vertical just change the scale axis in the mapping node, for example mines was z so i have to set x and y to 0 and z to 1 :)
if this was used for a game, how would you bake it? (without animation)

How can I export? The thing is that when I am exporting it, the object appears without the texture
for some reason i cant get the perfect dark area and the surface imperfection looks just messy and extra white
Is there a way to inverse the grid so you could use it to cut out another object? I'm trying to add a grid to an object that I'm 3D printing and don't know how to modify the area so there's a grid in it. Any help much appreciated!

Great tutorial, perfect for what i needed
For some rewson for me wont work i made a plate in leaf shape and it wont color the edges of that plate, is there anither way to mark edges of that plate?
Also on the emission or Transparent BSDF node.. if you have an image you wanna add to the material you can connect it there. I just tried it and it works like a charm. More solid and less ghostly if you duplicate and connect the Image node to both of them.
