Since I was not in a hurry, I let it be for 3 days. If there is a thick layer of paint, it would be good to let it dry for a day or two. Be sure to iron through a thin cotton cloth so that the paint does not stick to the iron.

This is some kind of PVC stencil film. For example ORAMASK® 811 Stencil Film. I got this from copy center scraps. They have a lot of leftovers.

I dilute with water. If there is a lot of paint left, I cover it with plastic wrap for later. Must be airtight. But otherwise, I prefer to take small portions for coloring and then throw away the leftovers.

Yes. With water. Immediately after painting, so that the paint does not have time to harden. Scrubbing with a small brush while washing can help. For example, an old toothbrush.

The color will last best if painted on the right fabric (preferably high cotton content), allowed to dry completely, ironed on both sides, and washed inside out in the washing machine on a gentle cycle or by hand. This is the best way to preserve it. If one of these steps is not done properly, more wear can occur. The colors on my clothes have been preserved well. Those who haven't bothered to wash gently will have worn more.

The result may be slightly lighter than indicated on the package. If it suits, of course you can. If I were to paint myself, I wouldn't buy another pack because of it.

Paint can be felt according to what color it is. If they are painted with a color intended for light fabrics, they are generally not felt under the finger. If painted with opaque colors, they are more similar to acrylic paint. Heating generally does not change the nature. Watch my video on textile dyes. They can certainly work if the fabric is cotton and absorbs the paint well. The marker should be of high quality. No doubt it's a big job. And if you iron it properly after drying, it will definitely withstand washing, if you wash delicate clothes on a program, in a laundry bag or by hand. Anyway, so that the paint cannot be crushed.

I would really like to try these colors myself, but unfortunately they are not available in Estonia. Yarn colors only. And ordering is expensive.
