I'd assume so, this is a really old video. The Daphne.so file was supposed to be used just for testing. When it was officially released on the Retroarch servers...it didn't work, so we went back to using the test core again. I don't do emulation on Android anymore. Hypseus is the commonly used emulator now for Daphne and Singe titles now.

Yes I'm still pleased with the T5 subwoofer. Still using it, I haven't really felt the need to upgrade it for this sized room. I was looking at some slightly more expensive subs but glad I went with this. You're correct with your active speakers they will alter their sound when the sub output is used. I'm using it with a Sony 7 channel AVR to do Dolby Atmos 5.1.2

Yeah they're not great. I don't really notice in gameplay as I'm focused on what I'm shooting at not my character. First person is still my preferred view to play and I've quite enjoyed playing it. Call of Duty Cold War had the Outbreak mode, with much larger maps for using Sniper Rifles which I do miss. I haven't paid silly money for the game. It's included with PC Game Pass at £10 per month and I can get that free with MS Rewards.

I don't cover it in the video because no offense it's really basic stuff. You do NOT download the source files you don't need to compile it yourself. Download the opentrack 2023.3.0-win32-setup.exe and install that as software in Windows. AI Track you want to click on assets in github and get the aitrackv0.7.1.zip, extract it somewhere and run the AI Track.exe to launch it.

I don't see why not. I do have a couple of cheap bluetooth transmitters from Amazon. They are powered by USB and output with 3.5mm jacks, the T5 comes with a 3.5mm to RCA cable for the input and the other RCA to RCA can go fom the sub to your speakers.

I rip my Bluray discs as almost all modern PC's can't actually play the UHD discs anymore now sadly (you can read up about it and Intel SGX). If you want to use an AVR with dedicated speakers for surround sound or spatial sound (Atmos/DTS:X) then you will need a PC hooked up to the AVR by HDMI. The Quest 3 can connect to the PC with cheap software called Virtual Desktop and view the video file being played. I haven't tried it but in theory it's now possible to use specific USB capture cards with the Quest 3 headset. A HDMI splitter would mean the Bluray player could send the video signal to both the AVR and the capture card. I don't recommend trying it the cost of the capture card could just go to a cheap mini-pc

​ @Honosuseri thanks for the replay, actually I'm watching my 4k blu-rays with my pc, madvr and projector, so it's not a problem. I already have a dolby atmos system, I want to know if via virtual desktop there are obvious compression problems as it is remote playback or is the solution effective enough. I saw the solution with usb capture cards but I understood that this solution only supports 1080p, not 4k. Thanks again :)

No obvious compression problems, Virtual Desktop does allow for a range of different bitrates and codecs including AV1 for the Quest 3. The Quest 2 & 3 don't have 4K displays in them so it's either 1080p content upscaled or 4K downscaled to fit the resolution. This is something I do to get more value out of the VR headset. I think the real bonus is when it comes to watching 3D movies. On a TV or projector the 3D glasses really cut out a lot of light as they are "shutters" to make the 3D effect, this isn't an issue with the VR headset.

On Virtual Desktop I can change the resolution of the remote display or is set only the current resolution of the pc? I want to set the maximum resolution and if it is possible set 24fps. Last question, you advice this setup? See movies with VR headset? Thanks!

You can set Virtual Desktop to "Godlike" or Ultra settings for maximum resolution. I encode my movies anyway to save space storing them so I can live with a certain amount of compression, your opinion may differ to mine. I have to contend with "god rays" because of the fresnel lenses in the Quest 2, that can be far more distracting than the quality of the content. I've managed to minimise them reducing the amount of "blue light" from the display. Quest 3 uses pancake lenses, I've not tried them myself but apparently you can still get "reflections" sometimes on the lenses. Would I buy a VR headset just for watching movies on? No probably not BUT if you are buying one to play VR games etc. it's definitely worth getting your monies worth and watching films too. The virtual cinema screen can be much larger than a physical screen we could have at home. All the best with it, have fun!
