Interesting that you have added the same petrol engine to your canoe that I have taken out of my Drascombe driver which is the only Drascombe sailing boat with an inboard engine , replacing it with a 5 kW electric motor for quietness.

My only criticism is it looks like the propeller would be right under the family jewels, I wouldn't feel comfortable with it that close in case of mechanical error. Would have to be at the back

I watched video for ideas on the driveshaft + propeller and came away without any usable information. Enjoyed anyway. My approach will be to use an electric motor, for me relative silence is part of why I enjoy boating.

Allen een genot om aan te werken. Ik hoop dat je de 'ziekte' te pakken hebt, nix mooier dan oud spul zgan te maken! Mijn 2000 Transalp is beter dan nieuw, nix mis met upgrades.maar hou t origineel! Met een Wout op elke straathoek en de verzekering😅Deze aandoening is life changing, geniet ervan! Bedankt voor de nostalgische gevoelens😮‍💨

Whats gear box you use ?

Nice craftsmanship, but to make a better quality video for your viewers, you should seriously consider cleaning up your shop.. it doesn't have to look like a hospital, but it could definitely be cleaner..
