This looks absolutely brilliant (beautiful board and models too). I think I might opt for a D6 in place of a D3 just to ensure no action is a foregone conclusion (but that’s because I enjoy a good heft of randomness). Capital work 👏

One thing, though: the Skullforge's sculpts inspired by Dune are a little smaller than Legion or definitely Scattershot scale. Would there be any problem to play this skirmish game with the figures at larger scale, given the dimensions of the playmat?

Is your commander the only one who issues orders until he dies then command moves to a lesser character?

Very nice and clear videos, one game I have been interested in. Have seen there a local tournament in November at Firestorm, Cardiff. Looking to get a ticket, looking at building a retinue but no rules yet confirmed. Would one of the Beginners retinue be a good place to start?

I'm pretty excited for this. Dune is such an interesting universe in science fiction, and it definitely lacks a presence in the tabletop world. Hand to hand combat is typically a pretty underwhelming aspect to many tabletop games. It's refreshing to see something more dynamic when melee is the focus of the game. Keep it up, John!

Loving the look of this, and i appreciate how dynamic but not overly complicated everything is. One question I did have, only 1 LT can be activated in any given turn, even if there are four players? Or each player can activate one of "their" LT units? Also, this made me want to play brain bug mode
