Finally! Someone with a stashdown/organization issue like mine. I am SO looking forward to catching up on these videos and joining in. I just got all of my stuff out of storage and I'm looking at a living room full of boxes - most of which is yarn.

I'm totally in! (though I will have to have "outs", because I will be purchasing yarn at my local textile center garage sales) but I do need to use up a good 5K grams of yarn this next year. I love the idea of just weighing out the finished projects without knowing how much yarn I have on hand. You can totally knit a sweater this year. I highly recommend using your advent yarn to knit a sweater!

They are cute but the one I am working on, a corgi, has drills popping off of it. I also had a less than stellar experience with the quality of the shipping. I do have a larger canvas from them which i am nervous to work on, if it is anything like this corgi. I'm glad they are putting sticker sheets in now.

I need to do this I taught myself to knit about 15 years ago I love making wearables for myself and family I've taken to Molly Weasley idea of knit gifts for the family lol this year I learned how to crochet and idk why I learn something and the first thing I try making is a blanket smh anyway since knitting takes a bit longer I usually kept my stash to ehh maybe 4 boxes that fit under a table enough for 10 or so projects at a time then I saw people crochet scrap blankets and thought ohh I can do that with the really small scraps that I've already used for at least 2 things all well and good then I spotted a rainbow pack of 12 and went bingo mom's holiday present did that and made a couple stuffed animals realized how quickly crochet works up I had scraps from the rainbow blanket needed a few more colors to change things up there were good sales .... umm I don't remember what color my carpet is my yarn stash has exploded it's everywhere now

I agree with making shire shenanigans a business page that just has all of the crafts you enjoy and any shop updates that come out! I don't think it has to be centered on a specific craft. I've been crocheting since I was 6.. I'm 59 now. I can make everything crochet. When people see me with my garments on, they say, 'you should make those for sale". I think the same as you, that's my hobby and entertainment, not my job. I tried selling baby sets many years ago. I only sold 4 sets, that made me stop crocheting for 2 years. I've given crochet items as gifts, and the people have not worn the items once. One of my family members even sold an afghan, I gave her at a garage sale.
