DIY Portable Water Turbine Power - Easy Making - Experimental DESIGN
มุมมอง 1.1K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I present an easy making attempt to build a Portable Water Turbine using cheap materials that can be found in any DIY store. I used a cover and a few elbows that are usually used to make sewage leaks, and for the transmission of movements from the turbine to the generator I used a nylon cable that is used for mowing with centrifugal cable. The final conclusion would be that we have obtained a r...

    Perfec diy project! 😊 I have an ınteresting idea for my problem in my summer house. The house is in the first line from the shore. What I want is a huge version of this. 😂 I don't need any extra power. 4 wheel drive would be more then enough. My aim is to make it carry four plastic beds, one big roof for shadow, one small 12v refrigirator, 50lt of water (with pump and hose) to the shore. 😂 It's weight will be around 100kg, including the chasis and the load. I can build the chasis with 30mm aluminum extrusion. It will be 2 meters long, 1 meter wide. 😂 The only thing I should solve is wide tires for cruising on the sand. There is no slope on the area, no ditches or bumps on the beach. I can't use the beach as if it is mine. It would be rude. But I can cruise this "donkey" everyday to the beach and turn back every night. 😂 For shadow I can use photovolteic panels I allready own. By this I can charge the batteries. Because I will use the batteries for pump and refrigirator also. 😂 The aim is to create comfortable area on the beach for four people, without occupying it at night and without carrying anything.

    wow that battery? i remember before i was kid. hoverboard was battery full and playing outside for 3-4 hour until dead battery. then charge. until night unplug and sleep then morning. later when afternoon. again playing outside when reached low battery. i skipped and dead battery every 20-30 times. then now dead battery or idk lifespan. it worked charged full it say green like full. was 1-2 hour. unplug then outside play working when get road up like harder. and put driving road ramp up. and dead.. no power on holding. when plug then unplug a charge. it worked. i think problem motherboard or short circuit or battery lifespan? battery work but before it was road ramp up it working harder so much then back everyday. after problem started then ramp up started slowly. when i get ramp drive up BATTERY IS WAS FULLY.. and started ramp up. slowly. harder then so fastest battery started low battery red light. then no move while holding driving.. and put back. battery become good. then again ramp up DEAD bruh. I miss 2018-2021 for dead hoverboard :( TODAY... no charge after 2 years ago. and work power on without teardown. playing in my home still working but trying faster dead battery. then charge it say green like fully. and i tried Punch hoverboard like rage. then started charging. later minute stopped to green.. again punch then charging. it still charging after hour to full battery.. to start it work but won't fast drive but slowly. yeah that battery lifespan bad. before hoverboard with bluetooth was working music later then dead sound. bluetooth work but automatically disconnect anyway cool video :)

    Would it be possible to ”bend” it just a little? Imagine like when you take a piece of paper in your hand Then you close your Fist with paper inside, it Will give the paper lots of ”wrinkles” or What to call Them. Depending on How hard you close the fist it Will have different results. But i mean to just close it a tiny bit to make the sheet ”wrinkled” would that be possible in any way? before you think my question sound crazy… I love GAHR metallsculptures. But i would guess that they use machines and probably omg i forgot the Word i both English and swedish, ”well/dwell/weld.”!WELD? When you kind of tourch the metal? I LOVE the strings of metal that look like melted metall-wires/threads on top. And Then the color they POP into it… i would LOVE to create something simplare But i have no tools. I need to do it at home.

    Or just fix the lower angle to the bench, mount the upper angle via hinges, put handle on upper angle, clamp the sheet to the lower angle close enough to the edge that when the upper angle presses down/in against the edge that it makes a nice crisp radius bend. The wheel works but its asking for trouble.

    Please make a version with more turns for the zig-zag (more zig-zags), and with more length for the zig-zags while also increasing the distance between the corners of the zig-zags. This will likely increase the efficiency, resulting in the temperature difference between the inside temperature and fresh air being lower.

    Nice video - I like the simple concept, thanks for taking the time to produce and upload it. Spraying (or painting) the contact surfaces of the heat exchanger unit with a coat of matt black paint should increase the efficiency of your unit by a notable degree.

    • @rajdude1
      @rajdude1 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ummm....no. Black colored stuff works only if sunlight is falling on it and the heat exchanger needs to absorb light & IR radiation and convert it to heat. For example in a solar water heater on someone's root. Look inside your home's AC. Look at the heat-exchanger coils there. You can look at the fins of your heat pump which is outside and easily accessible. Are they black painted?

    • @will_doherty
      @will_doherty หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rajdude1 My statement wasn't conjecture, it's a fact the matt black painted bodies both absorb and emit infrared more efficiently than any other colour. Whether the sun is shining is not an issue, since much of the infrared on earth is not directly absorbed from the sun. The fact that aesthetics and cost rule over efficiency is nothing new - the most glaring example of such stupidity is household radiators coming in a white finish, which is pretty much only worse than reflective silver for efficiency. You could ask yourself why space blankets have a highly reflective internal surface, and why thermal imaging cameras need to be calibrated to a certain emissivity and are inaccurate if then used on a different type of surface. If you still have doubts, I'd humbly suggest doing some research - the information is all there to be found...

    • @rajdude1
      @rajdude1 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@will_doherty Yes, I agree with you on "matt black painted bodies both absorb and emit infrared more efficiently". But inside his dark foam tube, is there infrared? IDK. Isn't this a simple air-to-metal-to-air heat transfer? Maybe I am thinking it wrong; so I will do more research on this topic. Thanks for responding 🙂

    • @rajdude1
      @rajdude1 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@will_doherty so yeah, I do see they even sell condenser coil paint on Amazon, so I guess you are correct. But my physics mind is a little confused. With nowhere to "radiate" the heat, because his aluminum fins are inside a box made out of thick insulation material, will painting them black help? Same argument as the heat radiators you mentioned above surely should be painted black, but why the AC coil inside my air handler (the inside unit of my heat-pump system) in my basement is simple aluminum, not black painted. Why?

    • @will_doherty
      @will_doherty หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rajdude1 Thanks for checking out what I said - I'm very pleased that you did. All bodies at all temperatures (down to -273C as I recall) emit energy in the form of infrared. (In fact, I just checked, and that is correct.) I'm not sure how much of the heat exchange in this simple unit is due to infrared absorption/radiation and how much is by conduction, but I believe the matt black finish would make a significant difference. To address your last point, I suspect many things that are manufactured are not finished in matt black due to cost saving, and at the end of the day the losses in efficiency are going to be paid for by the end user, not the manufacturer. When I was educated in the UK many years ago, we experimented with this exact scenario in testing the effect of infrared transmission and absorption by several identical objects finished in various colours and smoothness. The differences were very significant and thus obvious to see, which is something that has stuck in my mind over the years.
