@@makhan2881 Hi! I can do my best but I’m no expert :( So it sounds like the actual shifter is getting stuck in place? Like it’s hard to move it to another gear? I know the 500 uses shift cables and I’d assume the 500L would too, however it is a 6 speed so it’s definitely a different set up. On my car, there is a bracket that these bushings in the video attach too and I’ve heard of that becoming rusted and corroded which would hurt the shifting experience. I wonder if the 500L has something similar. I’d recommend joining up with a few Fiat owner pages on Facebook and asking around. I’ve had good luck on “The Broken Fiat Club”. There are people on there far more skilled than me.

@@goldenchildzeta5436 Unfortunately, the intake does nothing. I broke a piece of the original intake so I swapped to an ‘04 air box and this universal kit. You can barely hear it and it provided no power gain. I was just hoping for more intake noise. I’d think that a true cold air intake would be better than my solution but they’re hard to come across.

@@atikovi1 That’s very true and I’ve actually noticed they started to rub the paint off a tiny portion of the hood which I’m not thrilled about. But I do still like them!

@@anim.play225 Right! They’re wayyy smaller than 1:64 scale. From what I can find online, these are more like 1:150 or something. Apparently they aren’t exactly to scale so it’s hard to nail down the number.

It’s hard to say. What happened when it stopped shifting?

​@@Coronet777It been parked up for a years. I'd move it every month to stop the brake pads rusting to the discs but this month can't select any gears. Clutch pedal returns OK. It's not gone to the floor. Another thought is maybe the clutch plate rusted on.

Hmmm yeah that really could be. I’d think it would be unlikely that after sitting the bushing would go bad out of nowhere. When the car is off, can you get it into gear? I’ve had a lot of luck on a Facebook page called Broken Fiat Club. The folks there usually have a few good ideas on common issues.

​@@Coronet777Thanks. Come up with another idea. As it's not been serviced for years maybe it's just the brake/clutch fluid that has gone bad.

Thanks for watching! Depending on where you’re from (US vs Europe), this could differ. I believe the 2015 and newer Abarth is slightly different as it doesn’t have one or both ports. If you have a stock tube, there will be a hose clamp at the top of the tube, closest to the firewall, and the bottom of the tube on the turbo. Use a flathead screwdriver or socket wrench (8mm I think). If you have the ports, the smaller one is just held on by a clamp that you can use pliers to pinch and remove. To remove the larger hose, you simply need to pinch the gray parts of the plastic couple and it should pull off the port.

@@zenoncortez9050 It should be the same then! Be gentle as those small plastic tubes can be delicate. The main intake pipe is flexible and shouldn’t give you too much trouble. The car should be warm so the oil flows quickly but it should cool down at least a little before you begin. The engine compartment in these are so tight and you’ll be working close to the turbo.
