His style is right up my alley. His drumming has a lazy style to it and yet its far from that. Since I'm not a drummer, i don't know the language to describe. I especially love his outros in "I'm a Diamond" & ah crap, now i cant think of the other song name.

I've been a guitarist for 17 years but am brand new to drumming. I'm normally not a "just get whatever gear your favorite musician uses!" kinda guy. But Halpern's drum sticks are easily the most comfortable and easy to use, in my opinion. Just the fact that his signature drum sticks are so much more comfortable and playable than every other kind of drumsticks I've tried makes me trust this man's judgment.

I like me some coated emperors on top and clear Ambassadors on bottom. Love the sound of the toms from the mind of madness album, and i think i just prefer the warmer tom sound. Love the idea of what you got goin on now tho

Saw these guys open for Protest the Hero in Chicago. Absolutely killed. Underrated for sure. Met Nikko and thanked him for the awesome show - such a warm and polite guy.

Just switched to the UV2 as well. What a life changer. On the G2 I used to have dents after a month and with that the sound deteriorated really quickly. Bought the UV2 in January this year. Almost no signs of marks and the heads still sound fresh.
