Interview Prep Tips You NEED to Succeed [15 ESSENTIAL TIPS!]
This is excellent advice! In a digital world that's the first thing you have to do!! Amazing when people don't get this.
I'm glad you found the advice useful! It's crucial to navigate the digital world wisely.
That's a really clever tip. I didn't know you could use LinkedIn like that. Can you also filter on location....?
Seems obvious you do see Pollies doing this all the time!!!!
100%
Excellent tip! 💪🏽💪🏽
Glad you liked it!
I like this approach. Good trick 👍
Thank you!
This is a great tip! Interview gold....I could have done with this a few times in the passed
@@Frenchiexno1 thank you sir, really appreciate the feedback, and hope it helps in the future! 🙏👏
Very insightful!
Asking what the company does 😂
I was sure number 1 was going to be something negative about your old boss or company, but this was a good list. Perhaps that was top 4!!
Yes I’m do agree that complaining about your old/current boss is a big no-no too!!
This is not australia but thanks for complements (australia isnt like this)
It’s a big place mate, you should come and check it out!
@@mrgetmeajob I live in aus mate
Ok
Thank you for this
You are very welcome! 😀
Just lost my job. Thank you for this!
@@allistarvolo2509 sorry to hear that, and hope that my videos might be helpful for landing your next role?!
I feel like dropping out of college but my mom would go ballistic if I do that. I’m not smart as I thought I would be. I always sucked at math “mostly algebra” even when I was younger. I came to realization that Im one of those stupid people. Sometimes in life I have no choice but to accept defeat.
Stick at it buddy.... believe in you, and you might surprise yourself... keep going, its the only way to move forward
Sounds like a psychopath playground ... do management get the keeper test from their reports.
Interesting question, I would say probably yes!!~
You should answer the way you would actually act. If you would be capable and willing to act the way you know you are expected to, then it's fine. Otherwise, don't bother lying, you won't last long. There are few valid extremes in life, and this "never lie" vs "always lie" , is not one of them. If you're a jackass in your mind, as long as you can be a decent and pleasant human with your mouth, it doesn't matter. And if you can't, or won't, or won't lie about it, you can forget that job, you're not getting it.
100% right buddy.... there is no point trying to be someone you are not, as you'll always get found out!
About 15% of content is any good, at this rate they are failing.
Haha... yep I agree!
I'll quit my Amazon prime..
Not a bad idea... that will teach them hey?!
@@mrgetmeajob I don't know if that has an effect to Amazon. But if some mio customers quit, this would have an effect. I don't want to support companies which contract my ideas. Just bought the first time since 20 years a book online not from Amazon. And it worked as well..
These are also roles that are extremly thin on the ground and sort after by many many people so she will have to fight for them and aften run into nepotism. The sort of personality you've just detailed in the letter means she will probably not have the tenacity to keep going when she's been turned down for those handful of jobs that will be on offer. Generally speaking these jobs are luxury jobs for those with connections.
thanks for the comment, yes I get your point, and often these highly sort after jobs go to "people who know people"... aka, their network!. The point of this video is to help young people (16 year olds) who are thinking of life after school, and what perhaps to focus on studying at college or University, or even vocational courses. Its the pathway that leads to these roles. Thanks again!
Congratulations for the new channel, Steve (kidding), and I applaud the visual quality, audio and editing, which were on spot for a channel in is beginnings. But on the subject matter, you just showed us how the ritual (not interview) is so bullsheetous and repetitive, so must be the standard answers, which, in my humble opinion, are hardly sincere and totally sugar-coated.
Maybe so buddy... at the very ;east this can help someone who isn't too experienced in interviews and hopefully will get them on the right track. Thanks for your comments though pal!

If I said my biggest weakness was mornings and timelines can i come into work late?
haha... yes that weakness is a challenge, maybe try a WFH job, that might help you with this affliction?
Or employers can stfu with this kind of moronic crap and hire purely on experience. why the fuck should i waste any time going "I would have asked XYZ but that was already answered"...
its a way to help you stand out from the crowd in a tough hiring market.... marginal gains can and will help anyone.
@@mrgetmeajob Doesn't answer my question as to why i should waste my, and the employers, time with needless words that add nothing of foundation and importance to the conversation. Maybe it's just the autism in my brain (officially diagnosed), but i see nothing but moronic dumbfuckery in that.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm certain it helped me get the job!

Hi, I wanted to ask that why it is showing an error that you are not eligible to apply considering your passport details. I've double checked everything and all are good to go still facing the error and now they also have added India to the list. Do you have any idea about that?
Thank you for reaching out! I understand how confusing this can be. If you haven't already, check your eligibility here: immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/work-holiday-417/first-working-holiday-417#Eligibility Hopefully this will provide some clarity on the eligibility requirements.
I am a bit conflicted... I've accepted 2 jobs where they outright lied to me. Not withholding information, straight up lied. Both times i called them on it and both times that caused a major freakout. Worked exactly 1 day at both positions.
Thats awful, and sadly yes it does happen that employers sometimes lie too about a role and thier expectations. Sorry to hear that this has happened twice to you. My advice is to remain professional and be sure that you aren't compromising your own values, and be sure that you measure employers values in the same respect.
that should work both ways, vast majority of employers LIE to you, they ghost you, wont give you a wage range in order to eliminate you, they will fire you at a moments notice and give you a BS excuse.... majority of times, exaggerate or bend, out right lie , no
Fair point, sounds like you've had a some negative experiences, I am really sorry to hear that... my only advice is: don't stoop to the same level, stay professional and rise above the BS you've experienced..... you are better than that!!

Great advice. I like to defer these discussions with it is either too early to determine this, given the stage we are at in the process or if at advanced stage, ask them straight out what value do they place on my experience and contribution potential to their business/organisation from the discussion we have had so far? The latter transferring the risk/vulnerability of losing a great candidate on to them
Precisely Sir... the discussion around salary shouldn't be so transactional, it should be based on the value you offer to the company and what that could translate to in profitability terms. Good on you for taking such a positive approach!
Good night~unusual traveling, Mr. 💫

thats fantastic news, and congratulations on landing the new job.... and thank you for the feedback, I am glad to have helped a little!
This tips are awesome, absolutely spot on!!

That's a very good question Sir... I understand that you are suggesting that the 'top companies' pay better, however you believe that 'changing companies' is the fastest way to increase your pay?... Whilst this is very much a generalisation, I don't disagree with these points... So how can someone work around this? My thoughts are that the focus on 'pay' is the issue, the focus should be the JOB ROLE first, then the COMPANY, then the PEOPLE, then the PAY (last)... when this realised in a positive manner, over time, the money comes, it always does as you'll rise to the top. My advice is get into the 'top companies' early on in your career, then all will be ok.... so what if you are later on in your career? well the advice is the same, don't focus on the money, focus on the job/company/people then pay, in that order. I have a video which I am about to post, I will tag you in it!
Seniors say that changing companies is the fastest way to increasing our pay, top companies in each industry pays the most..so how to get into them hired by them early on in career ? What do they look for in candidates other than technical skills and how to create a personality which is suitable for their organization ie makes us hard to overlook in interview process.. what book suggestions can help also..
