Love the organ and backing vocals in this early version! In my humble opinion, they could have used more organ/Rhodes/Wurlitzer in some of their work - the one and only thing that could have slightly improved some of their songs.

Stephen's Day 1989 - 26.12.89 much better, hits all the notes and even goes higher on one - "City's a flood" Too much growling for my liking on this one. Not bad though.

This song and Bullet the Blue Sky are absolute dynamite guitar demonstrations from the Edge 😲

Certainly my favorite U2 song at any U2 concert I attend, it's my personal hightlight just right before Beautiful Day ;). I have though a couple of other UTEOTW live versions which I personally would rank higher, the 1992 DC version, the 2001 Brits version or the Mexico 1997 version, just an awesome sound ! :)))
