Yours was red on top, seems strange that this sort of thing happens, but doesn’t seem to affect the performance though. We had ours the same year to but think it was november 2011. Now we are on sky q now.

jamierose252 ya I had the blue card with sky+ and there wasn’t any red spot there when I upgraded to sky+hd as bought a hd tv in 2011 my white card didn’t arrive so I was using the blue for some days and there still wasn’t anything on it but then when the white one came I guess it got red over time like I said I never took the card out for 9 years

jamierose252 no, a pile driver, a giant hammer, that essentially nails long, large metal rods(piles) into the ground. They usually use diesel, and sound basically exactly like that. I would bet most anything that’s what your hearing.

Tomteeejay Strange thing is my other radio that has long wave witch is the morphy Richards doesn't pick it up. That goes to 260khz. But the binatone twin deck music centre does witch goes upto 300khz. Does it sound the same tone on your LW radio.?

Same here also looking for parts for the turntable cam belt and wiring for the audio for the stylus needle and also need a motor for cassette deck A. But don't know where to get them from, it's like a hard to find parts that's compatible for it.

+hopeunseen828 yes it does have a black arm that moves when you move it the other way that's starts the turntable move it the opposite direction it stops it. The motor on the turntable needs replacing just to difficult to get a part for it anywhere. Think is 35 years old or more now still works just need those parts so we can get the rest of it back to life again.

No it won't - you have a deluded view of reality. FM will be with us for many many more years - new licences are being issued and the government has scrapped an official so-called 'switch-off' date. And local radio may get indefinite leave to remain.

​@@jamierose252 They don't have a good reason to clear the FM MW LW & SW frequencies unlike analogue which was cleared to make way for more freeview channels, also many cars on the road don't have DAB tuners yet so I'd think the government will keep FM around for the foreseeable future.
