Im muslim women I'm really nervous that how could i handle all that easliy without realising my husband that I'm really nervous from inside.😢

As a Greek married to a Guinean man, the only people who have given us unsolicited 2 cents and targeted us online seem to be black American women and only one Guinean woman who was just simply rude to me when I was first introduced to his friends but to my pleasant surprise none of the other Guinean people in the group had it and they stood up for me. That was in the very beginning, that woman completely removed from our lives, all his friends and family and my friends and family have been supportive. We've been together for 5 years now and I'm so tired of people online that I have to change the profile photo to myself instead of us together because it seemed to trigger certain people. White supremacists have never contacted or targeted us though and it's odd because it's them I expected to be all over the place not black American women tbh.

Okay but why do I have to accept a love language that don’t make me feel loved. My husband cooks, cleans, washes, massages me, etc but I CAN DO THAT MYSELF ! I need him to buy me gifts and surprise me! Maybe I’m ungrateful but IDC! Why tf I gotta sit around and wait for a mf to want to make me feel loved in my way? And appreciating what they already do makes them think that’s all they need to do.

No, we women put up with a lot with these guys. Yes, we should look at the positive, but we need to stop doing so much and back off. We need to set some boundaries. I am always grateful for everything he does, but I do feel neglected and that's ok. I won't be mean abou it, but graceful. That was very sweet of your husband, but I doubt he would have done it if he didn't know that you needed it. I also find that a lot of men need actions not just words. So something like, "you know, I love making your lunch for you, but I have been feeling a bit neglected recently and am starting to feel resentment about making your lunch. I will be happy to make your lunch again when I am feeling better.". You are not controlling him, but you. It's up to him if he wants to do better or not and it's up to us take care of our feelings.

They just put their own imprint on it. And also, when you read the bible, it doesn't mean anything for you.The bible is not about you... We oftentimes me included.Will wonder what the scripture or passage means to me and it doesn't... The bible is strictly e documents, a true historical document of God, of Jesus's life , death and resurrection. There's ways that we implement it into our lives, but you can't read a passage and say what it means to you, because it's not about you. When I first learned this, I was almost offended, and that's because our ego wants it so bad to be about us...
